I hope this community continues as a place for feelings, experiences, examples, hints, on how to transcend money, or moneyism. It is about outlooks and attitudes that are BEYOND money. It can also be about saving money, new ways of using money, or not being constrained by money, as well. But it can also be a place to discuss philosophies and theories regarding money, bartering, exchange, trust, etc. So, I will be adding some posts about my thoughts in economics, but please don't get the idea that THAT is the sort of post which must constitute most of this community. Finally, this is not necessarilly a radical site meant to undermine the U.S. Dollar. I eed to add that as a disclaimer.
With this said, I am providing you with a list of alternate (bartering) currencies which are LEGAL within the United States. As times worsen, I hope you might consider participating in these local currency systems. It might make sense to make a hard copy of this list, and relevant links therein. In the future, it is possible that some of these currencies may be challenged, although they are legal. The more people who partake in them, the less chance that that might actually happen.
