Changing the world...
and not getting paid enough to do so.
Current work projects:
1. Create a flyer to encourage young poc queer/trans activist to meet once a week to talk about social justice and movement.
2. FIND young POC queer/trans activist to come to the group
3. Break down the homophobia, transphobia, racism, classism and sexism within the LGBT community enough to recognize that oppression in itself, can not be eliminated unless it is fought against and eliminated on all spectrum's.
4. Create and facilitate an inner-city trans youth group.
5. Find a way to make multi-issue perspectives and campaigns sexy.
(side note: I rather think activism and activists are the SEXIEST people on earth)
Current personal growth projects:
1. Explore what it means to be a man- keeping in mind oppression and priviledge.
2. Find a way to balance wanting to change the world and feeling as though it's my sole responsibility to do so.
