fifty-eight: books.

reading is the most amazing thing in the world, along with music. and the one thing i've always been baffled by is people that say they hate to read, or that they think reading is a waste of time/boring/etc. i just don't understand it. i really love books, i love reading, i love literature. i love being able to just read words that somebody somewhere wrote down, at some point in time to create a whole world for people like you to see and envision. it's so much like how i feel about music...it's so much like music. it's a whole new world, and i don't know where i would be without books. i pity the generations to come that will grow up with high tech televions and computers that are practically living things. because nobody will teach them how to read. i guess this is me saying...everybody needs to read. i've read books daily ever since i was old enough to read. and by the way, i learned to read when i was three years old. i was reading chapter books by the time i was six and i haven't stopped since. that is because my dad loves to read just like me, and he had to make sure that i was the same way. and i plan to do the same with my children. i know that i'm as smart as i am today because i've been reading for so long. and i urge all of you to read as much as you can, and make sure your kids do, too. you won't regret it!

okay, i'm finished sounding like a forty year old english teacher. even though i will be one someday!

everyone, go pick up a book!
& please, for those who do love to read...
recommend books to me, & i'll do the same to you.
i'm always looking for a new book. :) ♥
