pete really surprised me this christmas, especially since we agreed to not get each other too much because money is tight. when i got to his house last night there were a bunch of presents wrapped on the bed:
- roy halladay phillies jersey (youth large fits me perfectly)
- a photography book with photos from hollywood in the 1950s and 1960s with commentary by bob dylan
- golden eye for wii (my favorite n64 game of all time)
- a lady gaga calendar haha
- this necklace
so after all that, i think i’m finished and he pulls out this tiny box to open last. it’s wrapped at least five times and it takes forever for me to open it. finally, i open the box and inside is an onyx ring set in white gold surrounded by teeny tiny diamonds. i’m usually not a huge jewelry person but this is so subtle and perfect for me. i can’t believe he picked out so many things that i love. i feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now.
