Hi everyone!
I am currently doing a school assignment on the psychology and science of sex change. I was wondering if I could get some insight from the people in this community about what it was like growing up and living as a transgendered individual. I hear the phrase, "born in the wrong body" said a lot, and I was wondering if those feelings are true for the most part? Also, what challenges have you faced? When did you know that you were meant to be something else?
In a similar vein, what do you think about the concept of gender itself? Is it just something constructed by society to put us all in our place? Why is it so important to be one or the other?
Thank you for any and all insight you can give me. I am truly inspired by everyone here and I hope I did not offend anyone with my questions.
