I've just started reading A Softer World, this spectacular webcomic, and came across this in the archives. A Softer World comics never entirely make sense, and I'm pretty certain they aren't supposed to, so I don't have anything definitive to say. This was just one of those things where I got to the end and let out an involuntary gasp, so I wanted to share it.
