Since Ms. Takamachi did this for the magic department, I figure it would be a good idea to do it for mine as well. My name is Dr. Luis Sera and I'm the head of the science department here on the ship. If any of you need any assistance with a matter requiring research or development of something using scientific methods, we are the people to talk to.
Incidentally if any of you new folks have experience in science or research-related fields-- whether physical, biological or mechanical-- I'm interested in having you on my team. The science department will be having a meeting in the contagion lab next week for all new and present members to discuss current projects and division of labor.
