People are betraying each other already. It is human nature.
You wonder why I cannot trust people? How can I in a world where betrayal is so commonplace? I have been betrayed too often for it to hurt any more, but look how it hurts people, and look well. Is it such a bad thing to teach distrust and scepticism when it will just save people from worlds of pain?
