She looked fresh, and much better than the last time he had seen her. He was glad of that, nearly smiling. But then the question of why he cared rose in his mind. He didn't know this girl. And his only experience with her had been unpleasant so far. So again...why did he care?

And a kid he hadn't met before doing chin-ups. Huh. Well, he wasn't going to interrupt. Instead, he headed over to the weights to do some sets. Yeah, he might be able to throw around cars when he was a wolf, but getting stronger couldn't hurt - plus it burned calories and killed time.
