Orc was never the smartest boy

Kais was paying attention when he stepped out, being perfectly accustomed to following orders when in a situation that confused him. Unfortunately, he was also small in comparison to humans, standing a little over half the height of the huge rock creature.

It didn't help, though, that without his armor functions, he had awful depth perception and he didn't realize how close it was. That is, until it practically knocked him on his butt. Kais didn't complain but Orc probably felt the impact with the blue skinned alien.

Had Orc been drinking...as he wished so dearly, he might not have but in this horribly sharp state of awareness he did and looked down confused at first, as if he couldn't comprehend what had just happened.

Kais pulled himself to his feet and looked up at Orc with his eyes that disturbingly lacked pupils. Polite...he had ot be polite. This was clearly a first encounter and manners for this type of situation had been implanted on his consciousness as a newborn.

"My apologies. It seems I was in your way."

Orc was slightly taken aback...ok down right startled by the persons appearance, but his muscles tightened in response.

"Yeah. Do somethin' about that." He growled in a gravely voice, the one he had gotten used to but still felt so strange to him coming out of his mouth.

The memory imprinting took over his reactions, a necessary thing since Kais would normally take the fight or flight approach to being confronted by someone so big.

Instead, he offered up a four fingered hand in the human gesture of handshaking.

"I shall. My name is Shas'la T'au Kais. We...will be working together?"

Orc looked at the hand, as if it was some kind of a trick question. Why wouldn't some tiny monster thing shake hands? He held out a massive paw made of stone but didn't grip the hand, afraid of his own strength.

"Sure?"

Kais would be thankful of that once he was more comfortable with his surroundings. But he did try his best to shake his...paw hand.

"I believe we were given instructions of a place to go so I apologize for not being able to linger."

What was he talking about? Oh right the voice.

"You heard that too?" Another stupid question, Orc was just racking up the dumb points today. But if anyone called him on it he's just...well he couldn't hit anyone he might accidentally kill them and he wouldn't do that again, at least not on accident.

[greatergone]

"I did hear the voice. It must have went out to everyone." He shook his head. "We must fight these creatures and defeat them for the Greater Good."

see...when you put it like that it made so much more sense.

"Where are they?" Another stupid question he was sure but as he lumbered along with the rest of the naked people he found himself wondering if this was just some new trick of the FAYZ.

He shook his head and followed along behind Orc. "I do not know. We will find out, I guess."
