Not his body was right. Looking down he could tell that he was currently residing inside a rather curvacious female. On the other side of the bed, unlike in his room, was a small night stand with a pair of glasses, different than his however.
But it didn't seem as if he would get a chance to grab for them because soon enough, there was a bit of an unaware struggle for control as Satellizer blinked a few times and looked around the room a bit warily.
It felt as if someone was there, but she could see anyone at the moment. She leaned over and grabbed for her glasses, putting them on and voicing the command to turn on the lights.
Her room wasn't in the Crew Quarters, as much was apparent from the lack of meat furniture. But it seemed to be a rather modest, single studio apartment. The soft objects that he had felt were actually various stuffed animals or toys and the night light had turned off.
Satella raised her sheets a bit to cover herself and began to scan the room for the odd feeling she felt earlier... unaware that the person wasn't in the room... but inside her.
A woman Billy didn't know. Billy's consciousness slipped back as she took control, though he was silently screaming for help. This was like when the Nightmare King had kept his spirit captive inside his body, but worse---as he didn't know where his body was. It wasn't like when he'd switched with Kimberly either. Two personalities in one shell?
Hearing whoever's thoughts made it that much worse as it made Satella jump a little and narrow her eyes.
"Who's there? Show yourself!" whoever it was would pay dearly for venturing into her privacy... But there was a subtle fear inside of her. What... what if they saw me... Or t-took pictures.... like her...
Satellizer quickly shook her head and settled on her resolve. If it was someone looking to harm her, she'd show no mercy.
Billy's worry rose with hers. He hated this, he hated everything about this so much, and now he was intruding on the poor woman's privacy. That was the least of his worries, given all the things he'd miss out on without having a body, but it rose to mind at the moment.
I'd show myself if there was anything of my body to show, he thought slowly. I'm afraid I've lost my body and wound up inside yours.
That made even less sense... The closest thing she could recalle to something similar to this in her world was... when the Novas took over the bodies of the other Padora from East Genetics...
Satella huddled up against the back of her bed and covered herself up even more.
"What... do you mean you lost your body... Why are you inside of mine and how do I get you out...?"
And what else can he do in there? What if he could see me... or f-feel me... Satella gasped momentarily, What if he can feel what I feel? Or hear my...-- She stopped all thoughts abruptly.
Billy wanted to wrap his arms around himself and huddle somewhere, but he didn't have arms anymore. He was just a mass of personality inside someone else's head. What did that mean? Surely his brain was missing critical parts, if it was still out there, and there was a possibility he'd never be himself again. It terrified him.
I'm not supposed to be here, obviously. I'm Billy, I work in the Engineering department on this ship. And I need to get to work. But I've found myself inside you instead, unable to do much of anything. I need to know why. Believe me, I want to be out too!
If it was possible. He could hear the thoughts but chose not to comment on them, instead thinking through his own fears. Will I ever be myself again?
Being as they were sharing each others 'soulspace' so to speak? Their thoughts were rather clear, at least the surface thoughts. As such, Satella's eyes narrowed at his words and she gripped her bed sheet even tighter.
"Well... we're going to need to find a way to fix this." She started to get up, the sheet slowly draping off of her before she hastily grabbed it again and her face grew crimson, much different than her usually cold demeanor.
"Y-you... you can't see, can you?" she asked concerned.
I'll do my best. I've worked with personality displacement before, but we can't do what I have in mind without my body---if it's still out there, and who knows what's inhabiting it if it is.
Billy's consciousness seemed to cringe at her embarrassment. Not if I don't focus---it was only for a second. I'm sorry! I'm not in control of your eyes, I'm focusing on anything else.
Once he said the location, Satellizer grabbed her comm and did her best to operate it considering the circumstances. The more she thought on the fact that there was someone in her, the more scared she became. This was a whole new level of touching...
What was she supposed to do about it? She couldn't very well stab herself and just thinking about the feel of full body contact made her feel light headed from the fearful strain.
Even through all of that, she took a deep breath and calmed herself down in order to get the info from the Comm.
Billy was afraid, yes, but he sensed that the fear inside them wasn't entirely his own. He wasn't the only one upset---sure, having no body of your own and being stuck with a stranger was scary, but he was also intruding on this woman's space.
I'm so sorry. I'll be out of here as soon as I can. I know this can't be comfortable.
Uncomfortable would be an understatement to someone who reeled back when someone tried getting close, let alone someone inhabiting her body.
So the teen got a small, uncomfortable frown and feeling as a reply as Satella didn't want to give away just how upset and scared she was at the moment.
"So you're lab would be in engineering, correct?" She attempted to keep her voice steady as she headed to his house first.
"If your body was not to be found at your home, that would be the second place I'd look." Already mapping the fastest route.
Yeah, but I worry about what it might be doing there. What if it's on an operating table?
A terrible mental image of his brain being extracted flashed through the scrap of consciousness that was his. No. No, that would be one of the worst possible ways to die.
All right, but you might run into people who are looking for me. If you could tell them that I'm incorporeal at the moment, that would be great.
"But that would give us a chance to stop it if your body is indeed in danger," Satella replied as she turned down a street and hurried to the twin houses.
Once there, she took a moment to knock, not wanting to seem rude before checking to the door to see if it was open.
But it didn't seem as if he would get a chance to grab for them because soon enough, there was a bit of an unaware struggle for control as Satellizer blinked a few times and looked around the room a bit warily.

What's going on? he thought miserably.

She would have liked a fresh shower, but she felt she couldn't risk someone seeing her at a vulnerable state.
"Alright, done. Any idea of where your body would be at?"

It should be at my house. The Sun and Moon twins in the City, if that's where we are.

He urged Satella inside. No one should be here. My fiancée's away on a mission---ugh, I really hope I can fix this before she has to deal with it.
