The Sensoriums are decorated like the most well-tended and enthusiastically holiday-oriented suburb Southern California could have created. Jack-O-Lanterns grin out from driveways and porches; smoke machines belch out onto the sidewalk; orange-tinted Christmas lights twinkle from the rooftops. A loop of Halloween-themed music, from the Monster

So does the floor.
Six people find themselves falling for what feels like a very long time, before landing on a bed of leaves. The air is crisp and smells vaguely of mulch. A circle of tall trees surround the six crew members; on each tree's trunk is a carved door, with a symbol of the major American Earth holidays on it. A Christmas tree, a valentine, an Easter Egg…
The door with the jack-o-lantern is open.
[OOC: Please make sure everyone gets a chance to tag in each round! Characters involved are Harry Potter, Han Solo, Ankh, Fuu, Doctor McNinja and Grif.]

Fuu's mind raced as the ground vanished. These were the Sensoriums, weren't they? They were supposed to be safe! But of course, it would be unwise to trust that. And she'd had enough time to think that thought, which meant that she was probably high enough to die when she hit the ground...
Her first impulse was to try and use Guardian Wind, but if she was at terminal velocity, the sudden stop would still kill her. Reduce speed, then--"Binding Wind!"
The green swirls of air wrapped around her, slowing her quickly but not quickly enough to hurt her. She saw others, too--Fuu tried to extend the spell, but they were too far... and then she was in sight of the ground. Fuu released the spell as soon as she touched down and tugged the cape of her Cephiran costume away from her legs and hurried over to the rather... er... dead-looking boy. "Are you all right?"

And what marvelous timing! The few minutes he is in there, pondering if he should just leave, the floor gives way and he finds himself falling, and in a new costume of a man he once met on this ship before. Obviously even the sensoriums couldn't make way which one of the two he was. Standing up and realizing his trusty gun had been replaced by some sort of old piece of technology, he mostly ignored the other two looking around at the trees.
He had a bad feeling about this.

He wasn't actually that good at making things up on the spot.
Nor was he good at suddenly being where he wasn't a few seconds ago.
"Hey! Stacy!" he shouted. "What gives?!"
He may or may not have actually been having a good time for once.

Of course before he could be angry about that, there was the concern that he was suddenly falling, and then eventually landing in a bunch of leaves. What. The hell.
"Hey!!" He yelled indignantly and wrestled with his cape a bit as he stood up, glaring angrily at the surroundings. "What the hell...?!"

His eyes didn't need to adjust much to the switch in light thankfully, and he straightened up, taking in his surroundings with a quick sweep around the small perimeter of the various - very weird - trees.
His Batman costume perhaps made that look a bit more dramatic than he had intended it to. Nothing nearby appeared to be threatening to them so his attention was pulled back to the group.
"Hey, show of hands, everybody okay?"

She looked up towards the point she had fallen from. "Could it be a malfunction in the Sensoriums?" she speculated, remembering what Red Robin had said about the state of Stacy's systems. Besides, everyone knows that you can't have a holodeck episode without some catastrophic failure that can only ever be solved by playing out the program.
