Ankh's first concern was gathering information about this place; the hawk candroid was already flying around where it would and he'd follow it to anything useful later. His next concern then, was returning to the pod caverns. It would be easier to do after all the new crew members had settled, and so he had to wait, no matter how pissed off it made

Sitting on a higher level of the walkway, Caz watched with mild confusion as Ankh pitched his usual temper tantrum, but the nature of what the hell he was looking for was the puzzling part. OOOs? Why? Ankh had said it himself- he didn't need OOOs to fight if he was at 'full' power. Maybe to eliminate him before he awoke...?
Regardless of the whys and the whats, Cazali remained seated, watching and making no motion to make his presence known. Not that he was being particularly stealthy, but he'd let Ankh work to figure out he was here.

He turned back towards the pods as if to keep searching, when the Hawk Can came flying past Cazali and down towards Ankh giving a few robotic squawks hat led him to immediately jerk his head up towards Caz's location.
"--Hey! What the hell are you doing here?!" Code for: gtfo.

"Hanging out~"
...he couldn't help that one, seriously. Cazali shifted, rolling his head for emphasis, before gesturing out at the cavern. "My offer still stands~ You know I'm a better tracker than you are."
Reply
"Screw off! I'm not so stupid that I'm going to fall for that! We both know you're not really here to help, so get out of here!"
He might've still been a little angry. Just maybe.

"Do you want to find them now, or do you want to be stubborn~? You were the one that pointed out how I can't do much against you, and..." A sigh, and a genuinely disgusted look. "I'd rather deal with you then the rest of this organ-infested ship."

Ankh kept his gaze trained and Cazali, glaring all the while. He was still breathing a bit heavily and his disposition didn't seem any more calmer than when Cazali had last seen him.
He scoffed, "Touching. Unfortunately, I want nothing to do with you. While you may be reluctant to deal with the humans around here, I would rather put up with them than have to make any sort of deal with you." He gestured a bit towards Cazali with his Greeed arm. "What do you get out of it? There's no way you'd offer without expecting something in return." And he highly doubted the dumb cat just wanted the pleasure of his company.

Bitter? Naaah.
"Why do I need to get anything out of it? Not being 'killed' would be nice, but~ I know when my number's up." A sigh, and he leaned against the railing, arms crossed. "I'm looking for someone too, actually. You really shouldn't be surprised, Ankh."

"Hmph. Looking for that Doctor?" There was scorn in his voice, but given his anger, it might not have had as much of an effect as he wanted. He did seem to loosen up a bit though; knowing that he had something over Cazali was enough.
"Sorry. I'm not offering." And he turned away to stare off into the caverns again, presumably resuming his search if only so he had an excuse to ignore the other Greeed.

"Oh, don't misunderstand, Ankh~" Caz tucked his arms behind his head, boneless as ever. "I'm not looking to start trouble, or wake him up for anything." Though killing that scumbag sack of meat and medals would be so satisfying- "I'm simply concerned he might have brought those medals with him." His face was grave at that. "And I think it's in our best interest to find that out."
He wouldn't bring up OOOs for once- he wanted to actually get somewhere, after all. "I may be the weak one here~ But remember where I was before that. Those damn medals don't mean anything good for either of us."

A careful observer would notice that Ankh stopped his scan when Cazali finished talking, but it wasn't for another moment or so that he looked back at him, giving him a sidelong glance. He was right, as much as Ankh hated to admit it; and it was thinking about his cracked medal that made him keenly aware of the overwhelming atmosphere again, and his posture slumped ever so slightly.
Still, there was no way he'd admit that there was something wrong with his Hawk vision in here; and he wasn't too keen on letting Cazali know where Eiji, Hina and the others were, if they were here at all. "What do you plan to do then? You can't kill him or wake him up, assuming you knew where he was."

Oh. Okay, he could work with that.
"Oh, I know. Trust me." Caz grit his teeth, casting his own glance across the pod cavern. "But if he is out there, monitoring him for now, or having those Riders keep an eye on him if he does awaken..." A shrug. "I don't know about you, Ankh, but I rather like existing. I also like to know what I'm up against."

He didn't seem very outwardly affected by these thoughts; he looked back out at the cavern while he spoke. "Whatever. I haven't seen him yet." That was true at least.

Then again, he'd actually dared to close his eyes around Mr. I-could-oneshot-you, so. Stuff was complicated.
"And I haven't spotted anyone of yours yet, either. Or the other greed." Information exchange go, with both of them being honest for once.

"It's pointless. I haven't been able to find them." It was half a lie, but Cazali didn't know that. He couldn't risk the Greeed being able to threaten them, or worse killing them if they were around.

He hated admitting that so much, but when he was so low down because of ambition...well, depression was right around the corner. He wasn't able to get headaches, but Caz's own scans weren't going much better. "...there's too many organisms here to sort through them all." Caz did better at actual tracking than scanning- even if his lion medal was what he did have. "But I can't exactly afford to give up~ And you're not going to, either."

"Like you said, there's too many organisms here; it's better to just wait for now and see if they join the crew." Ever more lying through his teeth but hey, that was nothing new. "Besides, neither of us are trustworthy enough to not try something, and you know it."
