Kang hadn't been further than two feet away from Fonrar ever since she'd shown up. He knew it was probably annoying her, but he'd been on the ship for nearly a year, the best he could tell, without her, and he'd missed her. Even the trip to the med bay to get the damn contraceptive shots (luckily the EMH had taken care of it, preventing any possible awkward run-ins with acquaintances, but Fon hadn't been very happy about having to do it), he'd stuck right by her.

The children had quite happily run off somewhere before that, with looks on their faces that indicated they knew exactly what their parents meant when they said they needed to talk; Kali had probably dragged Grosk off to Hydroponics or one of the Sensoriums to play.

Kang was telling the truth about needing to talk, though, and it was clear that something was bothering him on the way to the building he and Kali had moved into recently. As they walked, he explained what life on Stacy was like, and told her about the people he considered to be friends and even family.

"If we weren't limited to a day, I'd introduce you to them," he said, wings set a little high. "You'd like Trudy, and Eva. Hell, I think you'd like all of them."
