In the aftermath of the battle at Lirath, Stacy had been severely damaged. Though she still eventually managed to build up enough power to resume course, she was obviously struggling, her pace far slower than normal. She could barely even manage to directly address those who needed to speak with her, instead allowing the more monotone voice of the

Descending from the ceiling was Spider-Man, looking a bit better than he was on Lirath. "Sorry, I'm not his keeper, but if you leave a name and number, I'll make sure he gets back with you!"

"You can start by letting him along with the rest of this 'crew' know that as of this moment, I am in charge of this vessel while I am here. Is that understood?"

Spidey dropped from his webline and landed face to face with the Daligig. He was probably no taller than he was!
"Look, listen, I'm not that high up on the food chain and all, but, ah... we kinda have a lot running here. Our own government, our own ship chain of command. Eheh, how come you gotta be in charge when we're doing just fine?"

Another Daligig, this time wearing a red arm unit, stepped up, placing a hand on Archon Yavek's shoulder.
"Tactless as ever, sir," she said, before turning to the others. "Sorry about that. Archon Yavek is just very big on rules. As long as you don't step out of line, you can continue with your own government."

"And besides, how can we trust you when we know diddly squat and when we do, it's either zombies or aliens trying to eat eight-year-old girls or what not?! I mean, what the hell?!"
There was a brief pause.
"There. I think I got that out of my system."

He had actually arrived a bit ago, actually, but hadn't decided to say anything earlier. He had a feeling the Daligig would try to pull a stunt like this, and he already knew how the crew would respond. The question now was how would the Daligig respond when the crew simply wouldn't bow down to their demands, and he'd intercede now to be the first to deal with that.

"I expect you to follow the chain of command because this ship is a Daligig ship, and as a Daligig officer, it will respond to my commands. If you do not wish to face disciplinary action as dispensed by this vessel, I suggest staying in line."
"Sir," the female spoke up again. "Perhaps we should try not to antagonize them. It might work better. Just a wild guess."

He nodded to the female Dalgig, accepting her apology and comments, "As you can see, our crew does have a well organized system in place as it is, and doesn't take changes well." He thought they had at least earned some sovereignty as it was.
He then glanced over at Leon for his response.

So, the ship would respond to their commands over his. But considering the work Neuropathy had been doing, and Stacy regaining more of herself, Leon wondered just how much of a threat that still was. He may have to test that theory if Yavek keeps pushing things.
"You should listen to the lady," Leon agreed, and stepped forward. "I'm Leon S. Kennedy, and I'm in charge of this ship and this crew. This is my First Officer, Nathan Petrelli. You'll be meeting the rest of my staff, as well as the Council members shortly. Before that, though, I need to have a brief word with you," he said, his comment directed at the female Daligig.
He motioned to the side, indicating for her to follow him a bit. At the least, she seemed to have a shred of common sense and some manners. He'd get a lot further dealing directly with her than he would with Yavek.

"Hold on. Why are you putting them back?!" he said. "I hate to break it to you, Captain Stick-In-The-Mud, but do we look like prisoners You guys saved us from the Ohm and you're going to thank us by making us go through that again? Half of the mess we're in now we wouldn't be in if it wasn't for that flat-voiced computer!"
"And if you think you can scare us with Punishments, think again. We've seen what that is."
He turned to Leon before he left. "Now I feel better!"

"I'll be straight with you: We've fought the Ohm and won; we've found ways to handcuff the Warden; hell, I've tossed a god into a black hole; The Archon isn't going to intimidate us, bully us, or force us into submission." That wasn't said as a threat or even a warning, just a simple statement of fact. The Archon's attitude was not going to work. "I understand you have certain protocols you need to adhere to, but I'm the only one under any kind of obligation to the Daligig, the rest of my crew never swore an oath to anything, except to each other. You're going to have to meet us half way ( ... )

She points briefly to the leader of the massive reptilian warriors.
"See that guy? That's Force Commander Hukkar, in direct command of the Kessek forces within the 34th battalion. Pleasant guy most of the time, and he doesn't do anything without provocation, but he will follow any order Yavek gives him to the letter, and he is more than capable of carrying them out. Not to speak ill of the dead, but that explosion your guy was killed in after he killed that Firewurm on Lirath? Hukkar survived a similar explosion when he killed the last Firewurm the Ohm tried to deploy. He's strong enough to fight anyone in your crew one-on-one, and with nearly a million Kessek back on the Horizon, they could put down your entire crew if things got out of hand ( ... )

"I suppose it'll have to be. Though my crew is still going to need someone to talk regarding the repairs. Since its unwise for Yavek to talk to the crew any more than he already has, so I'll be instructing the crew that you'll be the official liaison."

She pointed back to a rather taciturn looking Daligig wearing one of the green arm-units, darker than the other ones.
"He's not much of a talker, but if you know what you're doing, he's easy to get along with."
