As per their
agreement, Hoshi took off for the Media Library. Admittedly, she wanted to research a few things herself, but the main reason for her venture was to see her friend again after what happened on the Oryan planet. Once there, she strolled through the rows while keeping her eyes peeled for the Doctor

"Loads of things. You know how thinking is: very full of thoughts and all sorts of stuff." Evasive, as always. He hadn't been one for letting his friends and companions get too close to what he thought and it was really just old habit to deflect. "So. Here we are. Did you need something?"
He squinted at her. If she needed something, this was a bit roundabout, even by his standards, and he was trying to figure out if this was a human thing. Humans. Sometimes you could guess what they were getting at -- although really, they were much more straight forward as babies. He hadn't ever met a baby who wasn't straight forward. He supposed the older a human got, the more they forgot about being blunt. Herd mentality, maybe, not there was anything wrong with herds. He'd met some rather polite ones himself, even if holding a conversation with one was an affair in itself. Since humans were so...social, they were all rather keen on trying to get along and not making ripples by being too blunt, at least when they weren't trying to kill each other over all sorts of silly things.
He wasn't too sure why Hoshi came to him of all people. Still, considering his background and dabbling, there was a good chance he could help her with whatever it was she needed.

Oh, that was right! She almost forgot about her original purpose for meeting the Doctor at the media library. While most of her questions and other riff-raff was taken care of by Philip and her other friends, she did come upon the realization that the last time she met the Doctor face to face was when she was helping him clean out the TARDIS. That was months ago -- far too long in order to keep up with friends, in her opinion anyways. So, while this meeting was all nice and well, actually hanging out with the Doctor would probably ease up on any stray guilt she felt about not keeping up with this friendship like she did with her others that she made here on Stacy.
"I was wondering if maybe you and I could do something together? Like, grab a bite to eat, listen to stories of some kind, a sleepover... Whatever seems cool to you is cool to me!"

It sounded much more entertaining that way than being boring and picking only one: an "or" option, really. Although a sleepover...well, he thought he knew what a sleepover was, just judging by the fairly obvious name. Loads of sleep, presumably, but given he wasn't human, he thought Hoshi or the other humans would probably be doing most of the sleeping. Maybe he could have a recreational nap in the meantime. Not quite his idea of fun, but it could be different.

The gears were turning in her head of what they could do, such as what she could make for it, as well as what she could bring to it, or what she could do to prepare for it. The anticipation was running through her body and it was probably evident with how wide her grin was and the light in those red eyes of her's. "Oh, what do you like to eat and drink? I can make stuff and bring stuff that I have over for us to do--"
It was clear that she was probably going to talk a mile a minute for a short while due to the ideas that were running through her mind.

As for drinking, well. Not much of a drinker of that alcoholic stuff people like Eva were so fond of, especially with his taste buds. He supposed a human might not mind but for those of them in the galaxy with, you know, an actual sense of taste compared to a human, Earth drinks were rather disgusting. He thought about it some more and shrugged.

At his shrug, she pursed her lips together and thought about the drinks at the Masaki home. Well, there was the fruit smoothies... "Have you had a smoothie?"

He wasn't too sure how he felt about bananas these days. He remembered liking them rather well but that was also literally a lifetime ago. Two, if you wanted to be technical about it.

Well, there was nothing better than give people choices about what they wanted to combine with their food. That was how restaurants worked, anyway.
