Thing had been going well. Julian hadn't even cheated on her while she was gone. Which, previously, he probably would've. Perhaps he's maturing!

...well, maybe.

But, she was back again, and he was going to see his girlfriend? her, and managed to find her in Hydroponics.

"Hey, gorgeous."

For the briefest of moments, Kara thought she'd been hearing things. But she hadn't. It was him.

Which was nice. They generally managed to find each other sooner or later.

It was also nice, she'd noticed, that he wasn't a child.

"Hey!" She patted the ground next to her, inviting him to sit down. "GLaDOS snatched me up again. It's like it misses me or something."

He went over, sitting down next to her. "If it likes you as much as I do, then I can see why it'd want you around."

"Cute," Kara laughed. "And smooth. I like it." She reached across and took his hand in hers. "How're...things?"
