So, he was on all fours, lashing his tail and growling, chasing a group of them around the living room and pretending to be a bear. He was sure some of the other adults were laughing at him, but he didn't much care. He was enjoying himself, as were the younglings, and that was all that mattered at the moment.

There was absolutely no fear, and no pause in interfering with the rough play of someone nearly twice his weight class, he was clearly responsible for the child in Kang's grasp, and not willing to tolerate the child being frightened or hurt. As a father himself, Kang probably caught the obvious 'dad' vibe.
