"Well your Earth's rules are insane," Marco pointed out, rolling his eyes. "They make no sense. Okay, let's just assume that a 'digital world' that can contain sentient creatures made up of data actually could exist. How the hell can you still be wondering around here? We're not in a computer. If you were actually digital, there'd be nothing for you to exist in right now. At least if you came from some kind of alternate universe or dimension or whatever, you wouldn't have to try and find some bullshit explanation as to how a computer program or whatever the hell you're meant to be could exist in the real world."
"Sorry, the only one's that we know of who are actually smart enough to understand and explain how that works are still in the pods," Hikari said, frowning. "At least, if they're still alive at all."
"Hey, even if they are dead, Stacy seems to like bringing back dead people," Marco said, sounding really cheerful about this fact. "So they're probably in there somewhere. But I seriously doubt that any explanation of whatever the hell that thing is is going to make sense, because that's just plain nuts.."
Marco shrugged. "I won't hold my breath," he said, before turning back to pick up the controller for the game he'd been playing. He raised an eyebrow at Hikari, as if asking her if she was going to sit down and play the game too or go off and do...whatever the hell it is that girls with 'digimon' do.
