With the end of Quarantine, all of the patients who'd been kept in the bubbles had been released (with the exception of those that Medical felt weren't safe to release), and brought back to the Med Bay proper. Some of them might leave, with family or friends to look after them, but others might remain in the Med Bay. Others still were only just

A duration three of them were currently trying to fill in with a simple little card game. "It's a lot quieter now than when we had people over in Quarantine." Sakura looked over at her companions. "The point is to end up with matching sets of cards?"
Reply
"What happens if I don't have any cards that match?" Miranda asked. She should probably concentrate more on learning the rules...

"Yeah, match four cards and then you can lay them down. And if you don't have matches, then you ask for the cards you do have for everyone else, to get the ones you need."

"Do you know if we're asking people to report in, or if we're actively keeping tabs on the patients who've gone out?" She looked at Rory, curious.
"Sounds simple enough. If the one you ask doesn't have the cards, that's where the 'Go Fish' comes in? Telling them to fish another card out of the stack."

Setsuna was still an involuntary guest in Medical, as evidenced by the fact that he was currently restrained to the bed and routinely pumped full of sedatives. He had been brought there after he passed out somewhere between the hangar and his quarters. The doctors hadn't wanted to treat him this way, but with his hallucinations growing more intense (which occasionally caused him to lash out at his surroundings) and his injuries (the internal ones in particular) not exactly getting any better with all of his moving around, they really didn't see any other options ( ... )

It was rare that she couldn't focus on her work and all of the Gundams needed to be worked on after that battle. It had taken a lot out of them and it would take her a long time, even with help, to get all the suits repaired. She was currently asleep with her head on the edge of his bed, knowing that she was within striking distance if he did so upon waking.

...Feldt?
He frowned slightly, his heart sinking a little. Did he make her cry again?
...when has he ever made her cry before?
He thought about that odd paradox for a moment, as he watched her sleep. He then nudged her slightly, quietly letting her know he was awake.

"Setsuna," she said quietly. Thankful he was awake. She didn't go to get one of the medical staff, she didn't trust them, even though they were doing what they could to make sure he healed. Despite the sleep, she looked tired, but at least he was awake again.

She pauses in the doorway for a moment, wondering if it would be better to turn back and let him stay relatively at peace. She knows she looks different than he'll remember her - older, scarred - and she doesn't know what story she should give for being gone. The honest one, maybe. How do you apologize for being dead? For being kidnapped? Does he know about the Yeerks yet?
She considers walking and just waiting it out until he deages to ten years old and his age just solves these problems.
"Marco?"

She's not Visser One to him anymore. She's not the rescued damsel to be protected at all costs. She's just his mother, returning.
"You didn't think I'd miss Mother's Day, did you?" she squeaks out through a choked voice.

It was something he'd rather work around. This would help, at least for the moment until a more permanent solution could be found.
He scanned the room, lips quirking into a faint smile when he spotted his target. "Hello, Conner. How are you feeling?"

"'Sup! I'm fine," Superboy said. "Glad to finally be out of that hamster ball!"

"Nah, these are fine."
He took them gratefully, and then looked taken aback for a moment, as if, for once in his life, he didn't know what to say.
"Uh, thanks," he eventually settled on. "For...you know."
He was a teenager. It was hard to admit things like this.
"For helpin' me out with all this. I know it's your job, but sitting around keepin' me entertained wasn't."
