Yzak was standing silently over at the sidelines, a place he thought best to stand to get a clearer view of those coming out of the chambers. Arms crossed over his chest, he tapped a foot impatiently, even though somehow in the pit of his stomach he knew that impatience wouldn't be relieved. He looked pretty pissed off (which might have been hard to decipher, considering Yzak's default expression wasn't exactly a smile), but somewhat disappointed as well. It was one thing when one friend went missing, potentially repodded unless they were running around inside of GLaDOS. But two?

As much as he hated it, it was also too familiar a feeling. Dearka and Athrun missing ... he almost felt like a red-coat again, stuck on a ship with no power to do anything about it but accept that it happened.

The screaming broke him from his thoughts, and he looked up in the immediate direction of the one screaming. "Did she just..." Oh boy, Yzak thought. Losing his comrades and gaining somebody just as loud as the braided pilot. Pushing himself from the wall, he walked over to Hilde.

"Hey!" he called out between a yell.

She stopped yelling when she heard someone say hey. She glanced around, not recognizing the voice and unsure if she was the one being addressed. It took her a moment to find Yzak in the crowd, but then again, it was a rather large one. She didn't mind the ticked off look, she had dealt with it before.

Be thankful, Yzak, she may be loud, but she wasn't nearly as annoying as her braided friend. She was calmer than the other pilot and had no problem manhandling him if she had to. She had done it before.

"Yes?" she asked once he got close enough.

"You can stop yelling," he noted. "That guy is probably somewhere around here-- you'll find him soon enough."

"So Duo is alive," she said quietly. It was good to know he was alive. She looked over at Yzak, wondering just how he knew Duo.

"I'm Hilde Schbieker," she said, introducing herself.

"Yzak Jule," he responded with a quick salute. "Lieutenant of this ship's Blade Squadron. I'm sure he'll wind up explaining that to you when you find him."

"But in the meantime, I guess I can answer any questions you have since you probably have a lot of them." While Yzak would help anybody out anyway, he found it easier to actually offer his help when dealing with anybody he or a friend of his knew. "He'll probably be happy to see you. I don't think anybody from his world has shown up until now."

"I do have a lot of questions, but most of them have to be answered by Duo. He ran off to fight in an uprising before all of this," she motioned around them, "happened." She wanted to question him about that.

"Are there mobile suits here?" she asked. She was a pilot herself and hoped that she'd have a suit to use.

"That is what the Blade Squadron here consists of." Well that was easy to clear up. "We have a hangar on this ship where they're all stored. Are you a pilot?"

"Yes. I piloted a Leo and Taurus mobile suit," she said. It was how she met Duo and then let him go. They had both been in Leo suits when he was trying to destroy the Lunar base. She hadn't been able to come close to his skills.

"One of them is probably in the hangar waiting for you, then."

She nodded. She'd get Duo to take her to the hangar eventually. "So how long have you been in this place?"

"Much longer than I would have liked to be," he said with a huffy sigh. "Quite a few months."

She nodded again. "I see."
