[hit_girl_mindy]

"Hey you," Hit Girl said, finally having the wig on, but walking with a noticeable limp. She still had yet to receive medical attention right away, it being more of a pride thing than anything else. She was in pain and preferred to remember that she would wear her injuries proudly, though not for too much longer,

"Did you get involved in the fight too?"

"Hey~" Ronnae shifted a bit in place to greet Hit Girl.

"Yeah... I wasn't going to let that crazy thing hurt Sasami... It seemed however that the odds were in his favor." she said bitterly.

[hit_girl_mindy]

"Yeeah, that might be my fault a little bit," Hit Girl confessed. "I sorta ran into that guy when he first popped in, and I should have done a ship wide post. In my defense though, I could barely type, and I was sorta concerned with warning Sasami first."

She made a face. "Well, temporarily until we handed him his ass back for him!"

"Yeah? I'm glad you guys took care of him... I. I got reckless when he found Sasami... It took everything took everything to keep him from her..."

She laughed a bit bitterly. "It's funny, in the end what did me in was Negi by accident when I blocked Kain's attack while he was prone..."

[hit_girl_mindy]

She shook her head. "That guy was no joke. I had to have three encounters with the bastard before I could do something useful, and that was getting Sasami the hell out of there. She had gone through enough as it was. Damn wife, getting in trouble."

Her head raised up here though, and every part of her was awake. "Negi? What do you mean, Negi got involved? I didn't know that! What happened there?"

"That Kain thing found Sasami who was trying to hide from him. Me, Negi, Aqua and two others I didn't recognized engaged him... I'm not sure what happened, but Negi was transformed. While we were all fighting Kain was attacking Negi with a large attack while Negi was charging him with his own. I didn't think things through and... I intercepted Kains attack... only to get run through by Negi's..." She sighed.

"It was my fault tho... I should have thought things through."

[hit_girl_mindy]

Hit Girl listened, a growing apprehension taking over her. It was bad enough that Sasami had gone through all of this shit, but now Negi was involved? And where was he, exactly? Was he on his feet, walking with a limp but otherwise ok, or was he somewhere, injured and bleeding and unable to get any assistance?

"You can't help that in a fight, especially with the different ways all of us fight," Hit Girl said. No one is perfect. But I have to know: is Negi all right? Is he in Med Bay?"

[ronnae]

"I couldn't tell you. I just woke up myself. But I know Aqua was the one who provided us all with healing. I'm sure she got him here."

[hit_girl_mindy]

"A healer? Good trade!" Hit Girl said. "Though it would totally be helpful if that water chick was still around. She's usually all gung ho about protecting each other and all. I sort of remember that at the last meeting."

"I'd rather not get too many people involved... I don't think we're coordinated enough yet... If we were, I wouldn't be here, in Med bay." she added a bit bitterly.

[hit_girl_mindy]

"Duh, we aren't," Hit Girl said, "but its not like I expected that to happen overnight anyway. Real teamwork has to be worked at, so people have an idea of what the other person can do, you know? The start was at that Outsiders meeting, and it can be followed through if people care enough. Gotta make sure that Beastboy stays on the ball."

"Yeah, you're right. I jus' hope we can get it done before any major fight occurs against the Ohm... If we're still disorganized by then well..." it was something she really didn't want to think about...

[hit_girl_mindy]

"Then we'll be dead, or some of us will be while the rest of us pick up the slack," Hit Girl said flatly, "But I don't plan on dying anytime soon. So I expect you to be the same way. Optimism is at least pointing you away from losing the fight in your mind already."

[ronnae]

"I don't plan to die either." She shrugged. "Jus' cautious and makin' observations is all."

[hit_girl_mindy]

Hit girl shrugged. "I observe a hell of a lot of problems, don't get me wrong. Unlike shitty earth though, we have the best of the best up here. We should be able to do something about this."

"I know. I'm sure we will. S'long as we keep workin' together, we'll be fine."

She arched her back a little to get in a more comfortable position before sighing. She wondered what would happen next, specially with the possibilities of pods opening up soon.
