Sofia rose above the city, riding on the wind. Even though a lot of the city was a mess, there was something calming about seeing everything from the air. It brought her a sense of peace and perspective. But mostly she liked using her powers, especially after thinking she would never be able to use them again

Lockon still couldn't decide how much he liked the City. It was different, and real, but it was also eery and reminded him of things he would rather forget. He paused briefly, glancing up when he sensed that there was something unusual going on today.

Haro beeped to confirm. "Flying! Flying!"

Sofia noticed that she was being watched and flew down to land not far away from Lockon. "Hi." She said brightly. "My name is Sofia. I don't think we have met before."

[sniping_meister]

"Sofia! Sofia!" Haro repeated, bouncing happily towards her.

"Oi! Haro!" Lockon half-heartedly chased after the little yellow robot.

[ayasofia]

"What- who," Sofia corrected herself because you could never be sure on Stacy. "Is that?"

[sniping_meister]

Haro stopped in front of her, flapping his ears eagerly as he studied her.

"Haro!" Lockon scolded. "He's a... a robot. He's friendly, don't worry."

[ayasofia]

"Oh, I see. Ah, is he-" She paused and reverted to Spanish for the next word, which Stacy thankfully translated. "Sentient?"

[sniping_meister]

"Sentient?" Lockon pondered this. "I guess, to an extent."

[ayasofia]

"I see. Well then, it's nice to meet you Haro." She turned to Lockon. "And what's your name?"

[sniping_meister]

"Sofia!" Haro repeatedly brightly, bouncing in a circle around Lockon's head.

He extended a hand. "Lockon Stratos. A pleasure."

[ayasofia]

She shook his hand. "Very nice to meet you. Have you been on the ship very long?"

[sniping_meister]

"Not really. Maybe a couple of months."

[ayasofia]

"How do you like it here?" She paused, and blushed a little. "I know, it's a strange question to ask. I don't think any of us actually want to be here."

[sniping_meister]

"How do I like it?" he repeated, amused. "It's not bad, I guess. Considering what it is."

[ayasofia]

Sofia nodded. "Yes, that is how I feel about it too. We can't be anywhere else so we might as well make the best of it."

[sniping_meister]

"At least we're not hungry and cold, right?"

[ayasofia]

"And there are plenty of new faces." She smiled then paused. "Do you mind if I ask what it was like where you're from?"
