Double Header [Open Like Whoa]

It was a mutual decision that Rein and Ed would be passing customers back and forth between each other. Everyone liked clothing and people liked trinkets being made right? As thus being said, they had put up banners and a nice post with "Atelier Elric" <--- and "Stormwind Clothiers" ---> scribbled on it in fancy Crannagan script. Perfectly legible ( Read more... )

Rein, Robe Remus myboggartismoon January 12 2011, 15:54:00 UTC
Clothing! It was no Madame Malkin's, so he expected no miracles of robework, but anything would be preferable to this baffling suit the ship had insisted on garbing him in.

Thus, Remus Lupin came to the clothing shop, stepping in with only a hint of hesitation. Truth be told, it had been a very long time indeed since he'd gotten new robes...

Rein was zipping around when Remus came in and she paused in mid-flight. "Hi! Welcome to my store! Can I get you anything fitted?"

"Robes, if you could," he said quite politely. By way of explanation, since it was clearly not the fashion here, he added, "They are most commonly worn where I come from."

"Ah of course. Would you like a plain shirt and pants for wearing under it or do you prefer to have it as a full dress robe?" inquired Rein curiously as she changed size and picked up her measuring tape.

Rein, barrier jacket hit_girl_mindy January 12 2011, 19:26:58 UTC
It had been awhile, but once the sign had come up Hit Girl had found where Rein resided and had come through the doors. The description of the jacket had sounded too good to be true, and she wanted to see if the girl had been funning her or what.

Secretly though, she really hoped it wasn't just some joke, and that this jacket was done.

"Hello, Rein?" she said, looking around.

"Coming~" singsonged Rein as she walked out, carrying a device in her hands which looked like a simple card in nature. "Ah hello! You're back!"

"Well yeah," Hit Girl said, trying to sound sure of herself, since she still was a little thrown off by the idea of getting something without a form of payment. Was there some way of asking for something like that without sounding like a demanding bastard?

"I just wanted to know if the jacket was finished...or whatever."

Rein giggled at Hit Girl's tone. "Yeah it is actually. I had to make some adjustments but now it'll form up without need of a mana threshold. Big Daddy, say hello!"

The black card with a red cross in the middle floated up towards Mindy and in a distinct male voice intoned, "Good morning My Master." It was a pleasant voice similar to Bardiche's, but it was smoother, less robotic in nature.

"Just take him in hand, visualize your outfit and proclaim "Set Up" to activate it."

"I am awaiting orders," said Big Daddy.

Trudy had known about the clothier on board for quite some time, but it seemed like things were constantly conspiring to give her no time to go consult with her. Finally there was some down time - training was over for the day and she had no briefings or meetings with the Captain to worry about.

"Hello, anyone home?" Trudy asked, knocking on the door frame as she let herself into the shop.

"Coming!" chirped Rein as she walked out, carrying a bunch of cloth and setting it down. "Hi welcome to my store! What can I do for you?"

"I'm hoping you'll have enough supply for a bulk order," Trudy said. "I think it would boost morale and the sense of unity in Starfighter Command if we had uniforms and squadron patches."

The stripes sewn haphazardly on the sleeves of her plantsuit testified to the need for some kind of uniform, something that would indicate rank and service in Command.

"Lemme check the inventory." Rein brought up a holographic screen and scrolled through it. "I'm guessing of a uniform color, dark green or orange depending on flight color aaaaaand..." There was a blip. "I haven't dug into that stock. As it stands, I could cover three Asura-class warships from the TSAB and have room to make myself a years supplies of panties."

Rein shrugged. "I have a lot of cloth," she said needlessly. Her back room was enormous. Lex really did his thing.

Kanaya had been hoping to track down the local seamstress's, and the advertisement on the omnicomms had made it all too easy. As she stepped inside Stormwind Clothiers, she surveyed the goods on offer, hoping for some hint of the raw fabrics in use; truth be told, she'd rather just buy materials and camp out in a respiteblock to do her own work, but anything made of proper fabric would be more than welcome.

Once she could catch the shopkeeper's attention, Kanaya cleared her throat. "Pardon me, ma'am..."

"Hello!" said Rein, turning around and blinking at her newest customer. "Welcome to my store! Here to get a new outfit I take it?"

"Please," replied Kanaya. "That said, I was hoping to ask you if you sold raw materials as well. I am something of a seamstress myself and had hoped to have something to work with. I can understand if you do not, but I thought I might ask."

"Oh I don't sell but I'll gladly give you some of mine. I have way too much to ever use by myself," said Rein as she indicated her back room that was just loaded with cloth and seemed to stretch into the warehouse behind her. "I'm Reinforce Zwei if you haven't heard. It's very nice to meet you miss."

The constant announcements of useful things were really something Cagalli appreciated; intentional or no, the timing was perfect. She definitely needed some real clothes, no matter how little or how much could actually be made.

She entered the shop, waiting for the seamstress to be free of other customers.

In no time flat, Rein flitted out of the room in small form. "Hello there!" chirped Rein cheerfully. "Welcome to the Clothiers!"

It was standard by now but she still put her effort into welcoming everyone. She couldn't help but throw in a "My you're pretty miss! Care to get something made up?"

Tiny person! By now, though, things like that weren't surprising her. Everyone did their part.

She had to wonder if everyone was going to start calling her pretty though.

Cagalli smiled anyways, though. "I'm new here so... I was wondering what all I can get here."

Well you are Cagalli! Don't deny it. Give into the adorable desu~

"Ah well I can custom fit clothing right down to underwear," said Rein cheerfully as she flitted around Cagalli, admiring her figure. "Which is a good thing cause y'know, undies. Pretty much any style that you can think of as long as you can create it."

"I also specialize in defensive barrier jackets too, but they're still also a work in progress." added Rein with a giggle.
