Hana was not happy. Far from it. Frankly, he was pretty pissed off.

Or at least, he thought he was.

Ignoring the fact he was both nude and covered in... something, he cast his gaze about in a vain attempt to locate exactly where the disembodied voice was coming from.

"But where is 'here'? Where is everyone?" As if it were going to answer now after failing to do so several times before. Of course, it didn't. And subsequently he got irritated when it didn't.

Slamming his fist into the wall he shouted. "I wanna know what's going on!"

He couldn't deny though, something inside him was stirring.

Well...that got her attention off her own unhappiness for a moment.

Shuffling a little closer she spoke up softly, "Um...dude." She pointed, "I think everyone is that way. That's where everyone keeps walking anyway."

She herself was not yet apart of that everyone. Frankly her world had been rocked for the third time in less then a day, she wasn't ready for another shake just yet.

Hana turned to look at the younger girl, then in the direction she was pointing, distrust on his face. "But what's that way?"

"I dunno." She shrugged, "Clothes maybe? Or a towel at least." She was still covering herself not that there was much to cover. "I don't hear any screaming yet."

Was that a joke? Alright it's official. She's lost her mind.

"Clothes?" He said, looking confused before looking down at himself and remembering. "Oh, right. Forgot."

He glanced back in the direction everyone was migrating, thinking for a moment before giving a expired groan and ruffling his hair, only to pull a face at the gunk collected in his untamed mane.

Sighing, he shrugged. "Guess we better head off then."

"I guess." She didn't sound too enthusiastic though. Although being naked was not fun it was preferable to facing whatever unspeakable horror could be waiting at the top of the stairs.

"Do you remember anything?" She asked a little surprised that she'd done so. Either her natural curiosity was getting the better of her, or she was coming to terms with the new situation.

"Remember? What are you talking about? I was just going off to look for that freeloader when..." He stopped. "When..."

Hana pulled a face as he tried hard to remember. "When... When something..." He clenched his fists and began hitting in own head in a vain attempt to kick-start his memory. "When something... Something happen..?" It was clear from his voice he was guessing.

"Something must have happened." He turned to look at her, a little hint of desperation in his voice. "Something happened, right?"

"Well...yeah something happened. I just dunno what." Sandy added in an unhelpful way. "I was just running and then...here."

She was purposefully leaving out the part about what she was running from. No need to get into all of that...ever again.

She paused thoughtfully and pinched her arm, "Ow. OK, not dead...or dreaming. Which can't feel pain?"

"Right..." Hana looked worried but he ignored the nagging feeling and pushed on. "We should go." But he didn't move yet, just clenched and unclenched his fists as if prepping himself, well, it's not like he had any weapons on him should things go badly.

"Neither." He said, oddly, before taking a deep breath. He couldn't deny it, there was a part of him that was feeling a little giddy. "Let's go." He started walking.

Sandy was watching him go for a solid minute before she realized he wasn't getting any further away.

It was then she realized she was following him, and this came as a surprise. Maybe it was just easier going into the unknown if there was someone in front of you? Kind of like the reverse version of her dads joke about the bears.

You don't have to outrun the bears, just the other campers.

Hana kept glancing behind him until finally he decided to break the odd silence that was only being emphasized by their sloppy footsteps.

He cleared his throat. "So, er, what's your name anyway?"

"O-oh um...Sandy." Oddly enough it was that question that made her remember she was talking to a boy and both of them were naked. The shell shock of everything going on had gotten her so turned about she hadn't even really noticed.

And now well...now it was impossible not to. Her face was bright red and she double checked to make sure she was covering herself. Not far to go to getting a plantsuit thankfully.

"Sandy, huh? Hmmm... Sandy." Hana seemed to have no such concerns about their mutual nudity as he mumbled her name over and over, tilting his head as if lost in thought.

"Sandy... Sandy..."

Well...he was a weird one. But that actually seemed not the least bit out of place seeing as the rest of her day had been so weird.

"Short for Cassandra...I dunno it sounded kinda girlie."

Hana turned to look at her. "Cassandra?"

He just blinked at her for a moment before smiling. "Wow, I though Sandy sounded pretty cool but Cassandra is great!" He chuckled, not a hint of sarcasm or a mocking tone encroaching on his words.

Hana gave her a large grin before turning back round. "Cassandra." He chuckled again. "That's so fun to say."

Sandy's cheeks lit up again but this time not because she was naked. "Y-you think so? I mean it kinda sounds like an old lady name doesn't it? I looked it up in a book once and there was this girl Cassandra who like...tried to warn everyone her hometown was gonna sink into the ocean but they didn't listen and...well they sank into the ocean." Hey what a random and not at all interesting story Sandy! Now she just wanted to run back down the stairs and hide for being such a goober.
