Sasami regretted going down to the Observation Deck. Oh, HOW she regretted it. She shouldn't of seen that, but her childish curiosity got the better of her. However, when the Punishment had started, Sasami ended up turning and running. It wasn't enough - she heard Big Zero's screams of pain and horror down the halls ( Read more... )

Vita had seen a lot of bad things in her life. She was shocked, yes, but not as shocked as some of the others. Not that she didn't agree that it wasn't horrible. It was. Something like that shouldn't have been done.

And she had enough compassion to feel for the poor girl she spotted. She could guess right away what this was about - it was the talk of the ship after all.

"H...hey?" She said awkwardly as she approached the girl. How did you comfort someone? That sure was something she wasn't good at...

Sasami looked up, hearing the awkward call. She sniffled seeing the Vita and noticed just how awkward she was just trying to speak.

Her lower lip trembled as she tried to speak. "I shouldn't of gone. I... I felt obliged to go and... and..."

She buried her head back down. "I didn't see it, but I could hear her screams..."

"It was bad, yeah..." Vita agreed and stepped a bit closer, so she could attempt to pad Sasami on the shoulder.

"There's people who'll try to make sure this doesn't happen again." She tried, as a way to make Sasami feel somewhat better. Yes, people like Sasami seeing this made it just worse. Stupid Tracy..Stacy...whatever.

Sasami looked up as Vita approach her and pat her shoulder. She recognized this sort of awkward behavior - Alessa was prone to this.

"R-Really?" she asked, sniffling. She smiled a bit hearing that - she wasn't the only one who wanted to help...

"Right!" Vita said and crossed her arms, taking a pose that she believed radiated confidence. Because the best way to show confidence was something that showed that you wanted to show it. Err....

"Me and a few others are already planning to look into this! We have some experience with...er...devices gone crazy. So don't worry, it will be fine, eventually. We won't let her do that again!" If we can manage

Sasami smiled wider hearing what Vita had said. It really was good to know that someone was willing to help out.

"That's... that's great... it really is." Sasami said, chuckling a bit. Wiping her eyes dry, she let out a deep breath as she started to calm down. "Stacy doesn't deserve to have to do that. She really doesn't."

A few moments later, she blinked as she realized something. "Oh...! I don't think we've ever met! I-I'm Sasami! It's nice to meet you... ah..."

"Ah, I'm Vita. Uhm, nice to meet you." Vita said, glad this had gone over better than she had thought.

"And it sucks that idiots always do stuff like that to, err, people like Stacy! Makes me friggin mad!"

"It is maddening..." Sasami admitted. "But, we can fix it. I know we can!"

She smiled a bit wider as she started to calm down. "Um... would you like to come inside?" she asked, nudging at the palace before them. "We could keep talking in there if you like..."

"Come in?" Vita asked, and blinked. She had thought that to be some strange tree, not a house...but to be fair, she hadn't paid it much attention.

"Okay, thats fine. Interesting place you have here."

First the car with the many rooms, now a tree house. Well, why not?

Oh, not just a tree house - a tree palace, Vita. Much better than a house!

"Great...! C'mon...!" Sasami said, taking one of Vita's hands and leading her in. As Vita could probably tell, she's the friendly type. Maybe a tad TOO friendly. Then again, when you live in the middle of nowhere, becoming friends with someone is a real big thing for her.

"O-okay." Vita replied, a bit surprised by Sasami's change of mood. She sure was quite a bit like younger Nanoha.

Inside, she looked around curiously. What an odd place indeed. "So you live here alone?"

At the very least, it's distracting - the longer she doesn't have to think about what she witnessed and heard, the better.

"One other person stays with me - Starfire. There were a few others, but they all got sent back to the pods." Sasami admitted. "I'd like to stay with them, but..." She felt awkward around them. "...I'd like to make sure my home's still in one piece."

"...So this was your home before ...Stacy?" Vita asked, looking around. It sounded like it. "Well, if I had a home I'd probably watch it too. Course, I don't, so my home's mostly where Hayate is."

"Uh-huh... pretty much." Sasami said, answering Vita's question. Though, hearing her mention Hayate caused her to blink a bit. "Hayate? Is she your friend?"

"Something like that." Vita agreed. "I'm one of her Wolkenritter, a knight serving and protecting her!"
