Paco spotted a familiar figure down the hall ahead of him and sped up to a trot.

"Hey Kate!" he called out. "My soul is sticky!"

Kate grinned, and chuckled, "I still don't get why we need it but ok. That makes two of us. She was making me run mazes recently too." She considered, and then came up to give him a hug.

"Welcome back. It's been well, kind of crazy around here."

Paco hugged her back enthusiastically. "Well, glad to hear that I'm not the only one with a sticky soul. I'm guessing she didn't let you have cake either?"

He cocked his head to the side. "Crazy how? In a good way or a bad way?"

"Not even a crumb," she replied with a shake of her head.

"Bit of both really? A virus was making people act crazy and dangerous. The good? Well, we fought one of them sickened with it, and well, part of a new team now. Still trying to figure the rest of it out."

"I was around for that," Paco said, shaking his head. "But you're on a new team now? Cool! Super hero team or shipboard team?" He grinned. "Am I still going to be able to pull you away for Team Have Some Freakin' Fun missions?"

"Super hero team, and of course you can." She smirked back. This was good, just casually chatting with each other and catching up.

"Outsiders still helping with that latter team too."

"Awesome, I figure I'm gonna need all the help I can get to drag both Master Chief and Captain Kennedy into something fun," Paco said with a grin. Oh yes, he hadn't forgotten Leon's assignment to him way back when, and he hadn't forgotten that he'd sworn to get Leon in on the whole thing too. "I ought to hold a meeting sometime soon and get some plans rolling. Any ideas you want to get in the mix ahead of everyone else?"

"Probably some games or movie marathon. And yes please, the Captain needs to lose that stick up his butt in the worst way."

"Any preferences on the movie? I'm thinking nothing with anything like zombies, after the rage virus." Paco scratched his head. "You know, at the rate we're going, I'm going to run out of movies that don't traumatize someone on board real fast."

"Leaning toward mindless comedy at this point? Or a series marathon? I thought I spied some 24 in the media library." And it has nothing to do with how good Jack Bauer looks, not at all. Well, maybe a little, she did like the stories as well.

"Mindless comedy or series marathon preferences noted!" Paco said cheerfully. "I'll call everyone together soon and we can vote on it."

Jonas glanced up from the floor of his cell at the sound of footsteps.

"[Ah,]" he said. He pulled up something like a smile for her as well. "[Hello Kate. I hope that you have been as well as can be expected?]"

"Jonas!" Ok, he was getting a hug right off the bat.

"Thought she was making you run around in circles too. And I'm better. Actually a lot better." Thinking of her Morpher and the other Rangers.

"[GLaDOS? Yes, she was,]" Jonas said, returning the hug. "[Apparently, my predecessor did not need to worry about whether or not he had a soul, since it seems that mine appeared to be coming loose. I am very glad to hear that you are doing well.]"

Someone he cared about ought to be feeling better.
