Most of the recently-awakened people had probably heard of the Drunken Dragon tavern within a few days of getting accustomed to the ship. Some had already visited it, and a few had even become regulars

Relaxation. The Ironman bar on the Founation in Sector 26 was one of the many places Jr. enjoyed stopping for a nice rest and some mixing and mingling. The Game Room on the Durandal served as a good time, but he tended to save going there for times where he's be out on a mission with the ship for a while.
Plus, the name Drunken Dragon for a place just sounded pretty cool on its own. When Jr. entered, however, he was surprised to see a familiar face.
It was hard to miss Kang on the ship. He turned as he was heading into the back to grab something, taking a moment to place the face, and then nodded in greeting, "Jr., right? Just a moment, I'll be right back."
Kang came back out after a few moments and leaned on the bar, "I would have figured that everyone told about the tavern would have also been told I ran it. Unless you just happened to stumble across it by accident."
He took a closer look at Jr., trying to discern his age. He looked very young, but that didn't mean anything on Stacy.
"Understandable. It's a lot to take in all at once," Kang shrugged. "And, it's not just people that were rescued from worlds, but buildings as well; I found this shortly after I woke up. It's a piece of home, so I decided to take care of it."
"It'd be pretty expensive to get a place that looks like this up and running ... I mean, if you were going for the real thing instead of just a visual replication," he went on. He could ramble on about this subject for hours.
"The one at our place is like that, too. But then again, the whole foundation was made to look pretty old-fashioned..."
"...is it really so expensive to use older materials like wood or stone for buildings on more technologically advanced worlds?" Kang asked. "I would think it'd be the opposite. Unless those supplies aren't as widely available?"
"A lot of it's hi-tech stuff," he waved his hand a little. "stone is okay, but wood isn't as accommodating when it comes to being able to withstand a lot of things. Plus, we're also talkin' the real stuff inside."
At that, he motioned to the wall mural. "Like that. Anybody can make a place and replicate something like that, right? But if you want a genuine-feeling place with an original instead of a replica..."

"Ah, hey! Kang, right?"

Jr. thought the wall was particularly cool. "How long did it take to get this place up and running?"
