Ben didn't want to be here but there was really nothing else he could do for the comatose woman he called his mom. So as such, he was creeping through the graveyard, keeping an eye out.

For far too long, he had been inactive, and couldn't rest on his laurels. As such, he had prepared well, pushing the frustrating memories out of his mind for the time being.

If it was a distraction he needed this was definitely the place for it. A scent as rotten as Swamp fire as a sticky wet blob of moss and slime went flying through the air at Ben's head through the darkness!

The smell was what alerted Ben in the first place, and a keen sense of MOVE! was racing through Ben's head as he ducked and rolled, the blob thudding wetly against the headstone.

His hand came down on the Omnitrix after a quick rapid selection, and his body changed immediately in a flash of green light and a muted cry of "Big Chill!"

The Necrofridgian phased into the intangible and hissed out, "You can't hit what you can't see."

Out of the murky darkness rose a creature that looked like the swap itself had come alive. Parts of it looked like an alligator, and parts of it like a fish monster.

It was in fact the creature from an old horror film entitled "It came from Jones lake."

And despite not being able to see Ben, that didn't stop the creature from flinging more of it's disgusting slime around willy nilly in hopes of hitting him.

The nice thing about being intangible was, well, being intangible. The slime slid right through his body as he floated around to get a better look at the enemy he was facing.

"Hey, I know that guy," muttered out Big Chill as he flew up a little and spat a freezing gust of wind at the monster, hoping to freeze it solid. Ice beat plant right?

And yes in fact the frost did coat The Jones lake monster turning him swiftly from an amphibious menace to a giant fish stick.

He trembled and growled but could now move under the ice that coated him. It seemed that...for the moment at least Ben had won.

Ben knew better than to leave his guard down, so the alien shifted into the tangible, floating a good distance away from the Jones Lake monster. "Looks like it's on ice," hissed the Necrofridgian, amused with his handiwork.

Still, he kept out of arms way, for the moment at least.

The ice statue shuddered and shattered and somewhere in the darkness Ben could hear a small child laughing...wait no that wasn't the laughter of a child...

Before further contemplation on the matter could be had however the bits of the creature from Jones lake began to reform with wet sticky slopping noises growing larger and large, absorbing the water from the ice to get bigger then before!

"Well that's something you don't see every day," muttered Big Chill as he flew upwards out of range. "Maybe something a little more physical this time."

And he flew overhead and changed aliens with a cry of "CANNONBOOOOLLLTTT!" And, dropping like a stone, he curled up into a literal cannonball and plummeted down at the Jones Lake monster.

With a "WHAM" And a "SPLAT!" The monster was goo again, but this time the goo was trying to wrap itself around Ben. A sticky wet creepy feeling climbing up his skin.

Thinking fast, Cannonbolt spun out, hoping to spray the monster everywhere as he peeled out in place before bouncing away.

Landing with a thump, he uncurled and frowned. "This might be harder than I thought."

The spraying worked as it was taking a minute for the fleshy goo to crawl back to itself it's face formed snapping angerly at the air unable to move.

Things went from bad to worse as a snarl came from behind Ben, "Sweet dreams princess!"
