"It happens," she said, makinga square with her hands to see how it would look if she trimmed the hedges around the hotel. "People burst in on each other all the time: its actually the best way to get to know one another. So who might you be?"
Katara chuckled. "Of course. I wish I could say I'm surprised, but that kind of stuff happens all the time. They can take us out of different sequences of time and even bring us on the ship with duplicates. It's weird, trust me."
She gestured to the building. "Redecorating what the headquarters are going to look like for the Outsiders. I can't go into the City just yet, so I'm trying to get an idea of how everything I input is going to work. Hopefully it works out."
"Outsiders/ Saw something about them on the omnicomm. Haven't really had a chance to respond to it though. Needed to make sure an friend of mine was alright."
"Yup, its a tea, I started, made up mostly of teenagers and kids. Some of us have powers and can be of help, but we tend to get a bad rap from the adults around here. I'm trying to make it so we get more involved, and if we need training, any of us, we can have it amongst friends. that, and we also get together in the hotel and have nights where we just hang out, watch movies."
"Elisa Maza. Popped at the same time I did, but got attacked by one of the folks that had the virus that was going around. She was awake and fine when I saw her though."
"We have a few wolves," Katara said, looking a little bothered. "I wonder if it was a wolf for sure. We get a lot of different looking people on the ship after all. Oh boy."
She looked at Peter. "What's your story, Peter? What's your world like?"
"Yes," Katara said, "but I know everyone's world is a little different,m especially since Goliaths' involve Gargoyles. Even places with the same name are drastically different."
"I'm from Goliath's world. That's how I know him and Elisa." Peter said pointedly.
He sighed, remembering that Elisa, and likely by extension Goliath, had no idea who he was. "Not sure if he's from the right point in time to know me though, so just take what he told you, add in a teenager with spider-powers and several crazed supervillains trying to kill him, and you get what my life is like there."
"Oh." Well that was unexpected. She'd never heard Goliath mention anyone named Peter Parker. She knew there was another one on board, but as far as she knew, he could be from a point in time where the two finally meet. Who really knew when it came to time stuff?
Here, she raised an eyebrow. "Ok, the teenager with superpowers I get: you're definitely in a long line of teenage superheroes on this ship, which is probably not going to endear you to the adults here. They tend to think of us as reckless an endangering, and that's why I formed The Outsiders to begin with."
"Ah, sorry, didn't know anyone was in here. Just been exploring around."

"Goliath's friend!" Katara exclaimed, smiling, then frowning. "Wait, what happened to her? Who attacked her?"
