Tony Tony Chopper was finally ready to make sweets! He was really excited about the whole thing. He quickly typed up a
message to Maydril, who he had yet to meet, and waited patiently at the entrance to Hydroponics. Making sweets shouldn't be as hard as making medicine right?
Perhaps if there was another "shore leave" at some point, she could repay what she'd taken.
It was easy to see the petite half-drow skipping along on her way to Hydroponics, a smile on her face and her supplies in her arms.

"I am May, yes. It is nice to meet you...what do you prefer to be called?" Not that she wouldn't call him by his full name if asked.
"I have most of what I need here, I think, but if you can find any fruit you like in Hydroponics that will stretch it a bit," May said thoughtfully as she straightened up.

She separated her utensils from the bowl, but all of it went into Chopper's pack. "I am emptying the bowl so we do not make a mess of your backpack. I figure we can put the fruit in it for now."

A thoughtful look crossed her face. "Special fruit? That is...odd, but I do not see why that could not exist. What is it like? I do not know if it would be a good idea for me to try it, but there might be some uses for others, perhaps. Though that would be something to work on later. Now is for fun," Maydril said with a smile.

Even she was astonished by the sheer green of Hydroponics. "I have not been here often, and every time I come it seems as if something is different. Perhaps I ought to visit more."
For more than just meditation. Though Hydroponics was good for that.

"Really?? Aahh.." The blue-nosed reindeer had let his imagination run wild. Maybe Hydroponics is always changing because there's some sort of monster hiding in it and changing things! He was visibly spooked. It didn't help matters that he could smell many strange, new scents and some things that smelt really bad. As long as he stayed away from the bad smells, he figured he'd be fine from the boogey monster.

"I think it is because I keep finding new things," Maydril said. She was aware enough to realize that Chopper had gotten spooked for some reason, but not enough to realize that it was inadvertently her fault.

"So what are these? Should I know anything about them?" Maydril wasn't entirely sure that there weren't monsters in Hydroponics...or at least creatures she'd never seen before, and while she didn't want to frighten Chopper with an answer, she didn't want to lie to the little fellow either.
Best to be silent then...and try to distract him with purpose!

"This is a satsuma tree!" Stacy's translator kicked in. "It's sweet and seedless. It smells ripe, so we should be able to eat them!" He changed into his human form, his limbs quickly, but steadly growing bigger. It ended with him standing on two feet, retaining his blue nose and pack still on his back. Chopper in his Heavy Point easily towered Maydril.
"Do you want to try one?" He was grinning.

"I think I will leave the picking to you! It will be easier!" Especially since he was so much taller than her now.
