It was one exhausted, tired, alien puke-covered, acid blood-burnt group of people that trundled out of the hangar and into the ship proper. Their mission? Had sucked. Their intel had been wrong. Their lives had nearly been forfeit

Since arriving at the medbay with everyone Kettch had kept out of the way of the healers. But that hadn't stopped him from making an impromptu praise and offering to the Great Stacy and the Light Spirit for protecting them and seeing them safely back.
However, the arrival of the dragon had cut his praise song short. At first he'd been worried it might attack, but it seemed even more tame than Oosa. At least until it snapped at Hiccup and then ran off. Curious, Kettch set the head down on a table and walked over toward Hiccup and the human girl. But before he got there, Hiccup doubled over in pain.
Startled, and worried, Kettch ran over as fast as his legs could carry him. Stoick and Elder Kang got there first, with their longer legs.
"Tyeht danti? Did the demons poison him?!" He should have thought of that before! Some legends told of demons with deadly venom, and smaller predators on Endor were often poisonous to catch their prey. Kettch turned at the sudden appearance of the strange man. "Are you a healer? You must give him medicine to dilute the demons' venom! Veek!"

Well, it was easy enough to figure out who it was that needed the medical attention, thanks to them kneeling on the floor and groaning. Though the lack of any further information was still irritating to the doctor.
"No one ever states the nature of the medical emergency," he muttered to himself, taking out his medical tricorder and running some scans. "Would it really be that hard to give some kind of information, like this person was shot, or stabbed," he continued to complain, largely to himself. "Or--"
"...being used as an incubator?" The tricorder picked up something, some sort of larva apparently.
He picked up Hiccup, an easy task for someone made out of photons and forcefields, and placed him on one of the tables.
"All of you, get back! And immediately quarantine anyone who was exposed to whatever he was exposed to! And if one of you could tell me what he was exposed to, that would prove useful."
Rose stepped over. She was still feeling... off, for no better description, and it seemed she knew why now. "Me, definitely. And anyone who got knocked out."
"We were stuck in a room with a bunch of eggs. Some of them had hatched." She pulled down her collar to expose the darkening bruise wrapped around her neck. "It latches onto your face, strangles you until it can put something down your nose and throat. Saw some bodies where something tore through the chest."
When the healer had asked what Hiccup had been exposed to, Kettch had turned and hurried over to where he'd left his trophy. Hefting the head into his arms, he hurried back just in time to catch Rose's explanation.
He stared wide-eyed at Rose for a second, appalled, then over at Hiccup, then back to the healer. "Ehda graks... Yud ehda... Here! This was one of the demons!" and he thrust the black chitinous head up toward the doctor, it's ferocious mouths pointing toward the healer so he could better see it.
He looked worriedly over at Hiccup and Rose. "...We will need powerful magic to drive the demonspawn out..."
"And none of you thought to report this until now?"
The Doctor basically had to pin Hiccup down with one arm, and gave him a hypospray which would help keep him still. He picked up a syringe with a really long needle and stuck it into Hiccup's chest at an angle. The needle passed between a couple of Hiccups ribs, and directly into the larva.
Hopefully this would calm the thing down, and keep it from thrashing around and damaging some rather vital internal organs.
