Well, it was nice to be able to relax a little bit after everything that had happened recently. Of course, for Nanoha, "relaxing" meant "going back to work."

Though catching sight through a window of a familiar body sprawled limp on the floor of a building on her route to work did give her a bit of pause. More particularly, it made her dash into the building in a panic to check on the girl and see if she was all right. "Miku-chan...!"

There was no movement on Miku's part. The fact that she was breathing was probably a blessing, but she still felt cold all over. And just who knew how long she'd been lying there at this point?

"Miku-chan! Miku-chan...!" She pulled the girl into her arms, all but shuddering at the chill she felt - and her lips were a pale blue. What had she been doing?

There was a little twitch of her finger, but Miku could not hear Nanoha's voice. She moaned as Nanoha moved her, and her arm dangled limply.
