Things had been a little more than hectic on Sasami's part, between the elections, her ungraceful loss, her taking up Nathan's offer and the recent podpop. She made sure she got a message out, letting the others know that she was there for the other kids, but part of her wondered if they knew... or maybe even cared

Nanashi had been exploring the city, searching for something of her home. It was obvious her castle wasn't here- there were no mountains in view- but she thought perhaps something from the other cities might be there. Even the Dragon Fall would have been a welcome find.
She had just found this palace though, made of a giant tree. She had always preferred flowers, but a tree palace? That was interesting enough to earn investigation. She was surprised to have found Sasami here. Of course, seeing the child so dejected she felt the need to comfort her.

"Oh, hi, Nanashi...!" she said. "Sorry, it's just a bit hectic. I'm used to it, but still..."

Giant trees of any sort had hardly been common on the planet of Orando, but neither was anything else in the City. Jeka had been making use of her flight ring to explore when she'd happened to overhear Sasami's rhetorical question. While she wasn't as willing to be a sympathetic ear as she used to be, she hadn't changed so much that she felt comfortable sneaking off and leaving a younger sentient in distress.
"Hopefully, things will resolve into something less chaotic; but I'm not sure that life on board this ship can be 'normal'." She smiled a little. "I heard that you've been named a liaison for the younger crew members. Congratulations."

"I hope so." Sasami said. "I'm used to a bit of chaos here and there, but not like how it is here. I just hope that what we've done now makes things a little better." She smiled a bit, hearing the congratulation. "Thanks. I still wish I was part of the council, but I probably can do a bit more as liaison..." She turned herself enough to face Jeka. "You probably already know who I am, but I've yet to know you... can I ask what's your name?"

She held a hand out to Sasami. "Jeka Wynzorr. I go by 'Sensor' when I'm working."

"It's nice to meet you, Jeka!" she said, before adding "...you're not working now, are you?"
