Down on the surface of the planet Zokez II, Stacy's erstwhile (and hopefully much more relaxed) crew began receiving messages over their comm rings and omnicoms

Tsukasa sighed as he stood up and made sure that his supplies were all together when he heard the announcement. "Good Grief...right when I start actually relaxing, too." Still, Tsukasa pulled himself together, put out his little fire, and climbed aboard his bike, heading back into town to rejoin the Saucer Section Obs Deck.

A little while later, he arrived. Pushing his now turned-off Machine Decader back inside, he leaned himself against it waiting for the inevitable rising and reconnection process.
This shore leave had been just what Cassie needed. She could stay here forever. And by here she meant cuddled up next to Nate, head nestled below his chin, hair splayed out across his chest.
This was the best vacation- no, the best week ever.
And then Stacy's voice was in her head.
"Mm-" Cassie blinked.
Left behind-
"Oh #$%&!" Where were her things? Actually, where was her plantsuit? ...Or had she been wearing her dress last...
"Mnn, Cassie wha-" The 'boy genius' spoke groggily as he slowly came out of the best sleep he'd had in...quite a while. He'd half thought it had been a dream, but no, here she was, next to him. A smile began to make its way across his face when Stacy's message repeated itself and he blinked. Okay, he was up.
Quickly sitting up, he pushed his hair from his eyes, laying a calming hand on his...damn, they really needed a label for what they were. Aside from traitors that was. But that was the last thing on his mind at the moment. He laid a calming hand on Cassie's shoulder, fingers brushing tenderly across her skin.
"Hey. Relax, Cassie. She's not talking right this minute. I'm sure we've got at least an hour before she pulls us all back. Come on, relax." He smiled, arms sliding around her waist from behind as he placed a kiss to her shoulder.
Hey, nothing traitorous about it now. Cassie had broken up with Jonas and everything. Never mind the fact that she had been making out with Nate while she was still with Jonas, that was beside the point.
"This is Stacy we're talking about." She looked frantically about for- oh, O.K. so she had been wearing her dress last. But better put on the plantsuit just in case. "It'll probably take at least an hour to get everything together and go over- mmmm." Despite herself, she couldn't resist leaning back into Nate's arms. "We really shouldn't."
Well, there was that. But Nate got the feeling that that fact was a small consolation to his 'brother.' He really needed to go and see him soon. He'd just have to make sure that his armor was on...yeah. That would probably be the smart thing to do.
"She's never been anything but logical before. Giving us ample time to get ready is logical." Yes she had been wearing her dress. Nate remembered quite vividly getting it off after all. But that was a thought for another time. Preferably a cold shower time. "Not if we get it all together real fast. I can help you pack if you like." He smiled against her skin, pressing a kiss to her jaw. "Packing's pretty important, huh?"
It was a little disappointing, even if he'd been expecting it -- they'd been there for a week, after all, and by the standards Axl was used to, a week without something happening (even if it was the most routine and easy of missions) was a rarity. Back home he probably would've been complaining, even. A week without action? Come on!
He'd had a good week, though. Surfing! Dancing! Baby's first hangover (however that even worked)!
Luckily he wasn't too far out of the way when the announcement came, so he didn't have to worry about getting left -- there were still plenty of other people to wait on, once he got back to the pickup site.
On the other hand, it meant he had to sit around and wait. Sigh.
For his part, Billy had proceeded with all due haste. Throw things messily into a box, change back into the plantsuit, and fly back to the gate. All in a span of twenty-five minutes.
After parking the car back in storage, he waited at the gate to take a few final breaths of a genuine Earth-like atmosphere. And here he found one of the newer crew members waiting.
"This is the worst part of a vacation, huh?" Well...no, not really. It could easily get much, much worse.
"Do you have the speed to pull that off comfortably?" Just a curious question. He doesn't mean anything by it.
Smiling slightly. Billy found a spot on the ground nearby. "I suppose there's not much appeal in people-watching or tanning. So that leaves thinking as a default activity, right?"

Besides, she'd gotten some cute new clothes and stocked up on food to cook for the crew. So she'd call this one a win.

"So, how was your vacation?" He asked, trying to kill some time until they reconnected.
