Shawn's being his usaly chipper self, and pretty much bouncing around from one spot to the next. (mostly to avoid anyone who would hit him for the fake psychic thing.)

"...so, what's up?" Shanw says, seeing Kate in the Sensorium.

"What? Oh nothing," She rubbed at her eyes, and got up slowly again.

"Just practicing."

"Y'know, I may have been lying about the whole psychic thing? But there's a reason I've been able to get away with it. Namely my dad taught me to notice pretty much everything. That includes being able to tell when people are lying to me."

Kate seemed puzzled at that, wondering what brought it on, "Ok? Whatever. So you can profile people, and recognize tells. Good for you."

"Sooo. Gonna tell me what else is up? Because it's not just nothing."

Kate sighed at that and went to fetch her bow and arrows quietly.

"It's not... but look, I don't want to get into about being possessed."

"You suddenly forget that I had one of those things in my head too? Come on. Talking about it'll help. Or something. Can't make it much worse at any rate.

"Not exactly? Be nice if I could forget all of it." Photographic memory didn't give her that luxury.

"I just want to move on from it. Bad enough those things like replaying worse moment reruns in your head, you know?"

"Actually, one of the reasons that didn't work on me is because I kinda did deal with it without moving on immediate afterwards. Funny huh? Well, that and I can be extremely annoying when I want to be, and pretty stubborn about it too."

"In all of what? A few minutes? How's that dealing with it?"

"We repressing it isn't dealing with it either."

"Thanks, I know about therapy. You can save it."

"Not gonna. Toldja. I'm stubborn."

"So am I," She just said, her arms folded in front of her.

"I had a case wher a T-Rex was my primary murder suspect the entire way through. I can out-stubborn anyone."

"As in a dinosaur? Somebody was playing with genetics or lost relic?" On her world, neither was all that odd a concept. "Or some time traveler's souvenir?"
