Tex was, by this point, pretty sick and tired of being intangible. It wasn't like it was the first time she had done it-Blood Gulch had given her practice-but that didn't mean she had to like not being solid for a long time. It got in the way of actually being able to do things ( Read more... )

Chris at this point of his life was sick and tired of all the dreams he has been having. Wanting to get his mind off of his problems was the main reason why he was in the sensoriums. He just needed something to vent at. Spying Tex in full armor, he gave her a small wave.

"Hey. Came here to train too, Tex?"

Tex gave a small nod of greeting. "This isn't real training. Just keeping myself sharp."

She gestured with her head towards a ridge before starting off again. "If you're following, try to keep up."

Chris nodded in a thoughtful tone. If there was one thing he knew about Tex, it's the fact that she seemed to be mostly business. Getting her upset would practically guarantee a shortened life.

He followed silently after a brief transformation to Kamen Rider Sting.

Tex led the way to the ridge, crouching down as she peered over it. On the plain below was more snow, more ice, an outpost-looking building of some stripe or another-and a lot of very bored-looking people in blue armor. Most of them seemed to be involved in some kind of bickering or whining.

Tex, meanwhile, was checking her rifle. "Don't make too much noise. Most of them aren't that bright, but they can still hear," she noted quietly.

Sting nodded silently, as he readied himself. No telling what to expect from this place. Chris had his shield ready to block any gunfire and quietly followed Tex, making sure not to get too close.

Tex made her way down the ridge, suddenly blinking out from view. Apparently, she had decided to keep her old armor upgrade in the simulation, as well.

Even if she was invisible, it wasn't hard to track how she was moving. Tex was creeping up on the Blues on the outskirts and taking them down with quick bashes with the rifle before much noise could be made. She blinked back in again for a moment, nodding to Sting briefly before cloaking again. If he was going to join in? Now was as good a time as any.

As Tex continued with her cloaked attack, Chris vaguely wondered what she was waiting for. Then he saw it. Through his helmet he saw Tex silently bash the skulls with her rifle. Brutal but very effective. Whoever she was, Tex was good no doubt about that. Following suit, he crept after and gave swift punches to the heads of the blue soldiers. The fell almost silently as Chris watched Tex as best he could without giving her location away.

Tex kept moving in a circular pattern through the patches of soldiers, spiraling in towards the center. As she works her way through, she switched over to her rifle, popping up near other Blues while cloaked and firing to sow the most confusion. The tactic seemed to work; soon there was a lot of yelling and confused shooting going on.

"Told you they weren't that bright!" she called as she jogged over towards Chris, still cloaked. As she got close, though, the sound of her footsteps was audible. "Take one's gun if you can!"

Chris or Sting rather, picked up a fallen gun with ease. Not his weapon of choice of course. Since becoming a Kamen Rider, he had a somewhat distate for guns despite his Marine training. But he knew he couldn't throw away a useful weapon no matter his preferences. He gave the gun a once over look and shot the next couple guards silently. He wondered... was this what passed for fun with Tex?

Apparently, it was. Tex blinked back in and tackled some poor, unsuspecting Blue-and then yanked his skull out.

"This doesn't seem physically possible!" he wailed.

Alas, Private Jimmy. His luck, even as a simulation, is...questionable.

Meanwhile, more guards were attracted by Chris' running around, for a very simple reason-he was wearing red. This was apparently more than enough to get them firing.
