She bit her thumb before speaking, and mentally sighed. Why was she the one chasing after him, when he'd been the one to kiss her? How unfair was all that? "E... Excuse me," Miku addressed Luke's back and bowed deeply. "I'm... I'm looking for someone." Augh, talking to strangers made her stomach twist into fearful knots. "Maybe you've seen him?"

She sighed and looked down, "It's really important that I find him, though."

"He hasn't come by here recently," Luke said. "We can go look for him if you like, though. I could use the break."

Especially since she wasn't very sure that he'd even respond. "Is that really okay?" Even if he needed a break, going after another sullen, gangly teenager probably wasn't restful. And that's what a lot of people needed right now: rest.

Looking over, the Jedi studied this young woman who had to be the one that Steve had talked about last time. "You must be the girl that Steve's talked about," he said, trusting what his intuition was telling him.

Luke led the way back out of the hangar, going at a slower pace. "Hmm. If I were Steve, where would I be?" he mused aloud, considering their options. "He's not in the hangar... I could try and feel him out in the Force. He's got a strong personality and I know him well, I'd be able to pick up on it."

"In the Force?" Now, to be fair, Miku hadn't gone to see Star Wars when it was first released in Japan, she'd been all of seven, and the idea of it hadn't crossed her as interesting. So, she'd sort of missed all the contextual clues.

Tracking down boys was hard work, she decided. "So... you just... know where he is?"

Luke did just that--mental practice--and picked up on a well of confusion and self-doubt. He was surprised, but he kept it to himself. Whatever the cause--something else, or feelings for the girl walking beside him, they'd find out soon enough. Luke wished Steve was Jedi so he could send the other soothing feelings, ones of confidence and faith, but Steve could sort through this on his own too.
"He seems to be moving around a little," Luke said. "But don't worry, we'll track him down."
