[BACKDATED TO THE MEET & GREET]

Billy's eyes reopened and he smiled a bit. Looking around the temple he waved a hand to one of the side rooms. "Shall we Mr. Stark?" He moved to the room, even without having him following. He needed to have his answers, and he really needed them. At least this could make sense, because nothing else in his life was ( Read more... )

Tony had never been amazingly fond of teleportation or indeed much that involved use of magic, but he was nothing if not perfectly capable of adapting.

"Sure."

He followed Billy through the unfamilliar building, mentally mapping it out as he went, using the relative position of his suit to calculate his rough position, more out of habit than anything else.

"So. You want to start us off? You seem to have a lot of questions."

Tony certainly looked and sounded honestly pained, if only for a moment. There was no way he could allow himself to get caught up in that mess right now, though- Billy hadn't asked him for a show of self-pity.

"I see..." He hung his head a bit. A moment for himself to remember the service. It had been a good one. And he had gotten to sit there, even though his mother had grounded him until the end of time. A big pout and a promise to do all the chores in the house for a month, got him out on good behavior.

He turned to face the man he once looked up to nearly above all others. Tears hiding in the corners of his eyes.

"I've from your future. A year and plus at least. And so much has happened... so very much." He shook his head and bit into his lip.

"Please, Mr. Stark. I need to know. I need to know so much about it all. I want to understand this. To make sense of everything that happened." He wanted to deeply believe that there was no other way. That everything that had happened, couldn't have been avoided. That the man he admired was still there, somewhere.
