It seemed wandering around was all Fletcher really did. When he was hungry, he went to get some of that glop from the cafeteria. When there was an announcement for some sort of meeting, he went to attend that. Sometimes he helped his brother out in the science department. But aside from that, he just wandered the ship, trying to alleviate the restless, lost feeling he had. It was so much like the first of the dreams he'd had after Nanoha's announcement (though he'd certainly had nightmares prior), only in this case he knew which way his feet were moving.
But knowing where he was on Stacy didn't stop him from being completely and totally lost.
For example, right now he knew he was in a hallway on level 5 of the ship, walking toward the Sensoriums. He hadn't tried setting the scene himself, he'd only gone in when other people had made it what they wanted. Even though he knew where he was going and how to get there, the things he wanted to know if he could see -- that was another sign he was lost.
Yet another sign was the eyes on the wall next to the bathroom door he'd just passed. At first he didn't notice them; then, though, a pair of arms reached out, grabbed him, and jabbed him with a needle. After he let out a shout and the arms retracted, he wondered for a moment if that had really just happened. It had been so sudden. He looked down at his arm and the needle mark was already fading; what was that? He tried to keep from panicking, but wasn't doing such a good job. He turned to head back to the living area, walking as quick as he could.
But again, knowing which way to go didn't mean he'd found his way.
