||Pod Release Protocols Initiating,|| Stacy announced to the denizens of the upper levels. Down the the Pod Caverns, familiar sounds made themselves known
( Read more... )
It was an eerie silence...before the pod before him popped...popped him out from all nightmares--and exposing himself to the present reality.
'...Operation: systemscheck..'
Soundwave's optics flickered to life as he stood away from the pod and eliminated the goo around himself.
It was an alien place with strange substance. He scanned the walls for signs of life and suddenly stood on his guard. This ship is alive, and it is holding him from reality... or is this the reality?
He didn't bother to check anymore. Fragged up systems are the least thing he can deal with in a situation like this.
"Organic ship..." He thought out loud, his voice, monotonous.
He fisted his hands in anger. What is with this calm voice? Of all the places, why is it seemingly hardwired in his processors? Trying his hardest not to look visibly--forceful, he spoke.
"....Request: Tell me where I am. And who you are. Are not-" he paused, suddenly thinking for a moment. "..." in sudden surprise of himself, he was left speechless. He doesn't know where he is, what he is there for, whose is this voice, and-- can he even survive this time around?
He shook himself. He was not above trying to trust a meager voice, but it could--it could be his only way out... he knew he needed to find out more.
||You are in the Pod Caverns. My name is STA'C K'LTRRB'TXFT, or Stacy.||
Stacy's hardwired into his emotional processors as well, considering the first name she provided stirs up feelings of motherly love, honor, and duty within Soundwave.
"Chosen..." he voices quietly, trying to understand the voice. "Stacy: What is my first task?" This voice is...very unique. The voice can prove as his guidance at the moment.
If Soundwave stops to inspect one of the pods on the walls along the light path, he might be able to see the shadow of a limb or a body inside. But the light is too dim to see much by, and the fluid is thick anyway.
"You say that a lot, Stacy...I see that to you, information reveals itself once the time arrive..." He gazes at the pods when he suddenly notices something different about him... as if he...shrunk. "....."
The lights lead him on a path that spirals upwards through the caverns until they finally end at the entrance to a large, circular room. It is empty, except for something that looks like vines hanging from the ceiling.
||Please move to the center of the room,|| Stacy says.
The tentacles wrap themselves around Soundwave and hold him firmly, even as several more run themselves all over him, wiping the stasis fluid away. A few minutes later and he's back on the floor, completely clean and shiny.

So, what's Soundwave's opinion on voices in his head?
