There was only so much someone could do to spend a few hours in a place like this. Roaming about identical hallways again and again holds entertainment for about the first hour. From then on, nothing but annoyance begins to settle. And really, that's just no way to work.
The area fully scouted, Ada took the free time she had for something other than sneaking around. Some light reading seemed to be a well enough choice, though it has been some time since she's been able to pick up a book without looking for certain clues hidden in the text or reading the journals of yet another scientist who got too close to something. Not that those weren't a good read, but a girl needs something else once in awhile. Besides, a little bit of Crime and Punishment never hurt.
Whether her mind was on Dostoyevky's work was up for debate.
