paper work
There seems to be a bit of paperwork that goes into a name change. I am in the process of trying to figure out what it is that I need to take with me. I have to wait until monday and it will have to be afternoon, but it WILL be filed on monday. So I have two complete packets, if you will, of the paperwork. There is one that I have handwritten and there is one that I have typed out. The typed looks better obviously, but I am just trying to be on the safe side I guess you would say. Just in case I have an extra set plus all the copies that I am supposed to have with me.
I have the cash ready with exact change and everything. So, I just wish that it did not take so long. I have to file and then I have to have it published in the paper and then I have to wait 30 days after the publication and then I can have a court date and then I can have the paperwork to be able to change my social security card and birth certificate. Then I can get an id that says I am logan and not ...... ugh. we were talking about how jenn feels like she was dating someone completely different before. That she was dating this girl before and now she has a boyfriend named Logan.
I feel like that person was who I was in another lifetime. I am not sure how that is supposed to feel.
