Stacy's voiced called the entire crew, until all of them were gathered at the Obs Deck. Then, a dossier appeared on the screens, along with the image of a rotating planet.

A central well that's more there for decoration than anything is covered so that no child accidentally gets in. Along with a stone platform where the mayoress gives speeches, the corridor on both side of the town's square is empty with 4 obsidian pillars, two to the far west and two to the far east.

The carnival is currently situated to the north.

At nighttime, you can catch glowing fireflies in the air. They tend to latch on to people's hair.

"Are you eating my hair?" Clef asked... the fireflies, yes. Not that he was really expecting much of an answer, but it seemed a question worth asking at the moment. He had taken off his hat for a moment to use as a little makeshift net for catching bugs, but that turned out to be completely superfluous once he had done so. Several bugs had claimed his head as a prime congregating spot, and his white hair conducted and reflected their light nicely. The whole effect was that his hair looked like it was glowing in spots, which was at turns both pretty and somewhat undignified. And he was afraid to put his hat back on.

A carnival! Hey, he could totally get used to these shore leave things! Hell yeah!

First Happy Happy something whatever world! And now this western type thing town with nifty hats?! Oh yes, Rin was happy! And now he found a Carnival?!

Rin rushed to the location, Blackie in tow as they began to go from place to place, looking amazed and chipper at all the cool stuff!

That is, of course until some cool dude or a sexy chick is nearby. Then he just acts cool cause he totally is! Yup!

Hmm. So far, the places they'd been to didn't seem so bad, though he'd heard the first seven that had gotten sent down here had had some trouble. Atom was so busy looking around at all the attractions he almost ran straight into Rin and Blackie.

Rin had turned around just as he was laughing to himself at how cool some of these booths were, maybe he could hit up the kissing booth... That girl, alien, whatever was... rather ummm hot... yeah!

But then he noticed Atom and froze in a comical stance taking a step back. Okay, so the place was small, but he hadn't considered running into anyone from the ship!

"O-oh! Hey! 'Sup!" totally acting cool now.

Atom smiled, adjusting his cowboy hat. "Not much. I'm just looking around for now. This is a pretty neat place, huh? Almost like out of the movies."

"Sh'yeah! This place is pretty cool. I'm kind of wondering what all the fuss is about being on this ship. The last two places to relax have been awesome and the ship isn't half bad! It's actually pretty awesome I think."

"Yeah, it has been pretty peaceful." Although Atom would rather know that his family and friends were safe. The ones that were still around, anyway.

"I've been exploring the City a lot, but... I kind of miss the sky when we're on the ship all the time." Which was a common enough sentiment among the crew, most likely. It was just that Atom missed flying wherever he wanted.

"I'll be checking this place out till we have to leave or until Yukio says we have more boring studying to do."

If Yukio can find him that is!

"Studying?" Atom blinked. "Um, what kind of studying do you have to do? Are you a high school student?"

Atom was kind of a fan of space, too.

"Well, yeah. I sorta dropped out for a while," More like never enrolled in high school, "But then I started going to True Cross Academy with Yukio."

He paused for a moment, remembering that the circumstances that led to him getting into the school were the most unpleasant memories he had up until he was informed of what had happened to them to be aboard this ship.

After taking a moment, he simply went back to his goofy grin and laughing a bit, trying to brush off the awkward moment. "But yeah, he's very adamant about continuing my studies even if we're in the middle of all of this."

"Oh. Well, it sounds like a pretty nice school. From the name, anyway." Atom wondered if it was a private school or something.

"So what kind of stuff do you study there, anyway?" Atom went to school sometimes, when he had no other duties to attend to. Of course, it was a little hard to teach a robot...

Rin grinned goofily and nodded, "It was. It was a pretty cool place even if it was a school!"

At the latter question he could almost feel his brother's stare burning the back of his neck as if he was around and giving him that warning look!

Rin even looked back for a moment, acoping the area quickly before laughing a bit awkwardly. "Yeah, you know, normal highschooly stuff. For the most part anyways.The rest was more..." Think, think! His sword!

He points to his Kurikara and smiles, "Sword training." Which technically wasn't a lie, it just wasn't the whole truth.

Atom gave Rin a bit of a strange look. "Sword training? Wow, that's pretty old-fashioned... are you and your brother part of a dojo?" Yukio hadn't seemed like much of a traditional martial artist... but then, neither had Rin.

"Do you still have to go to the school on the ship?"

"Well, not a dojo, no. It was more for personal reasons that we trained."

He gave a small pause dropped his head as he remembered that Yukio said the training might become more extensive now that they had more free time.

"Yeah, Yukio's making sure of that..."

"Um... is your brother a teacher or something?" The two of them looked really close in age, but he could be wrong. In any case, Yukio seemed older than Rin mentally.

"You don't like school much, huh. That's too bad."
