"Mr. Sulu, bank to starboard and put us in between the transports and the pirate vessels. Engineering, divert power to the phaser banks, that oughta scare 'em off

Dean knocked and then poked his head into the Sensoriums. After recent news, he was itching to relieve some tension with a hunt. Even if it had to be a simulated one to stay sharp.
He eyed the display, and cracked up laughing. Holy shit, it's the Enterprise.... only not exactly.
"Love what you've done with the place," He couldn't resist a leer to Uhura and Chapel.
Jim swivels in his chair to the entrance Dean had used - in place of the usual turbolift doors - and shoots back a slightly proud grin, "What can I say? I have a vivid imagination."
"Yeah I see that. Nice to see another guy with style." He tilted his head toward where 'Spock' would be. Ooohkay, that's a little weird. If kind of funny.
Tsukasa leaned on the wall near the turbolift. He had come in to do some photo developing, but he decided to stick around. Then he saw Spock with the 'Kick Me' sign, and everyone fawning over Kirk.
"A bastion of maturity." He said, still leaning against the wall.
Jim helps himself to a whisky on ice as Yeoman Rand strolls past with a tray of drinks. She wheels up to Tsukasa and gestures for him to help himself to one too.
"Maybe I ration for the days when it really counts," that, and the sensoriums were a shiny new toy to him. He just had to play with it.

Maybe a bit of military training was what she needed today. Lash had gone over to the sensoriums only to find some guy in command of what appeared to be the strangest crew she had ever seen. ..that girl wasn't leaving much to the imagination with her outfit.
She stared at the entire ensemble few seconds before talking. "You had a...monkey on board?"
"Do you really put kick me signs on your officers even if they are half apes?" That sounded like something she would do. "That sounds like something I would do." She looked over the console. "Why do I have a feeling a lot of those lights are just for show and don't really do anything?"
"Given that I have no idea how to operate half of this equipment, I'd say that was a safe assumption," he shrugs, "I know you're not supposed to touch the big red one, at least."
Char, having heard about the Sensoriums from general crew chatter but not how to operate them, stumbles into Kirk's simulation accidentally, but decides to look around as long as he's there. And also put on his sunglasses, because wow this bridge is white.
"Reminds me of the Argama, somehow," he observes. "Especially the ape."
omg, so late...sorry!nothefarragutJune 9 2010, 00:49:13 UTC
"What." Honestly, that was as far as Uhura got, seeing as she was standing in the doorway with her hands on her hips and her scowl out as she took in the sheer idiocy laid out before her. She wasn't sure what the next set of words out of her mouth were going to be, but she was pretty sure they weren't going to be very flattering.
"You," Uhura said, "just crossed about forty lines of things not to do when you have actual crewmates who just might walk in on you while you are--" She made an all-compassing this shit noise. "Busted? That does not even begin to cover this, Captain."
She was silent for a moment and then the scowl on her face cracked through her words.

Looking back to the science officer's console, he sees the chimp idly sniffing on his finger, before reassuring Dean, "He's really very good."

One that's having a little difficulty with the equipment, if the noises emanating from his console are anything to go by.
