Last week I quit WoW.
Yeah, pretty shocking.
Well, I've been looking for ways to waste my time until I move back to Cali and seek employment / school, and for some reason I decided to check my lj communities and got back into icon making a little bit this past week. I did icontests for like a month in like Dec 05/Jan 06, heh. I'm alright, and it's somewhat fun and time consuming.
I miss WoW a lot. My guild is making progress in Mt. Hyjal / Black Temple which most servers don't have a single guild that far in progression. But ultimately, although it may have been pointless to quit now, it's good for my future, because I have sacrificed way too much for that game, and I need to commit fulltime to work and school; the notion of being a bum forever is kind of unattractive.
I'm not sure if I'll update LJ again, I just felt like I should do something since I'm technically up and about. I don't have a fancy-schmancy layout or friends-only banner (yet-- I'm sure I'll get bored enough one of these days), but if you can't tell this is mostly friends only, but more than that it's mostly dead.
Alright, until I have something interesting to say or colorful to show I'm off. ++ ts
