I haven't even gotten around to watching the show yet and I can agree with that! The man's facial expressions are brilliant. x3

I'd recommend watching it ASAP. I've known about it since the Christopher Eccleston season was airing, but I finally got around to it in the last two weeks, and, as you can see, I'm pretty obsessed at this point. (And I'm only on the second season!)

But I do love his facial expressions. :D

With a new doctor coming onto the scene this would probably be the best time too, the problem is that I'm one of these people who finds it impossible to watch something if I don't know all the source material behind it. I'd feel guilty and like a bad fan if I skipped over old!who and just watched the more recent stuff. :(

Most of the time I'm like that too, but I just figured I needed to start somewhere. *Shrug.* And if you start them now, you may even have time to finish the Classic Who series before the Matt Smith season starts. (That's what I'm trying to do. XD)
