Pale violet eyes opened to take in the expensive scene before him-- a massive ball room laden with pristine white and gold, so many smiling faces as he watched his people dance along the floors that reflected the swirls of dresses and shined shoes across their polished surfaces. However he could not help but turn his eyes away from the happily married couple Ella, and Sergei.
“Where did that child go....” came a softened murmur past his lips as he turned about-- eyes searching the area for a certain shy little boy who had quiet the scene of humor.
Taking a few steps-- his eyes caught sight of a opened glass door-- half ajar-- and through it's transparent surface he could see the sixteen year old staring over green hedges-- his brow hair sporting a leaf as he intently stared.
A smile dawned across Ivan's face as he strode out slowly- gently closing the door behind him as he stood on the small balcony--
“Why are you out here-- Nicholas? You are missing the food and drink-- you know? Your uncle Sergei is celebrating-- I'm sure he would enjoy to see his Nephew there to smile-- yes?”
“Ehh!?” immediately the young man swung his body around-- his face flush half out of surprise and half of-- something else-- Ivan tipped his head curiously-- before lifting his gaze up from the small brunette to above the hedges that he-- with his height had no trouble looking past.
“....Uh uh-- I'll go inside! It's nothing--!” the young boy moved forward-- hands taking hold of one Ivan's arm to try and make the tall man turn his eyes away from the sight of a young girl and her mother-- The mother was attempting to fix the girl's hair to dabbing a hanky to her tongue to try and wipe a smudge from the young girl's scrunched up face-- they were talking but-- at the distance he and the boy stood at-- the words exchanged were lost.
“Oh......--oooh...” Russia turned his eyes down to the boy that was still pulling at his arm but... not doing very good to move the tower of a man.
“You--... like that girl?”
The brunette boy suddenly froze up-- hands constricting a little as his face grew red with even more of a feverish blush-- dark eyes darting down embarrassingly as fumbled words spilled out of his lips, “W-whaa? Uhh umn.. I- never said-- I-- well.. S-...”.
“She is cute--” Ivan smiled shutting his eyes as he nodded lifting a hand to pat pat at the boy's head-- mussing the mop of brown hair as Nicholas could only stare up wide eyed-- mouth gaping as his face burned in embarrassment, ---
“A-ahn... Y-you think so too?”.

[Slowly he sits up-- mind groggy as he himself is oblivious to the memory replayed-- however he can only feel a pleasant filling within his chest. His eyes sinking over to the glowing screen of his Dreamberry on the night stand.]
Hm-- perhaps today will be a nice day...
