Weekend fun
Why do we have to work? Just kidding. It was just such a nice weekend that we spent with the girls. Someone at work asked if she could have my hours on Saturday, which gave me the whole weekend off. I went ahead and took her up on the offer because I have to be in every day next week for one reason or another.
The girls slept rather late (for them) both days and the weather was nice. We went to the Black Swamp Arts Festival on Saturday. We didn't (thankfully) see anything we had to have but there was some creative jewelry and art pieces. We ran into some regular customers at one of the stages and their ten month old girl. Not surprisingly, she's bigger than Kyla, who's such a peanut.
Today, we went to Canal Days in Grand Rapids. I don't know if it's a bigger deal on Saturdays, but there really was not much going on today. A few reenactments, but for the most part, we just walked along the towpath and played in the park. Either way, we got out of the house and got some sun and exercise.
Anyway, back to the grind.
