(no subject)
I've been so busy as of late but I think in the end that's a good thing. I'd much rather be busy than idle. However outside of work (which will thankfully end in 2 1/2 weeks) has been fine. I simply avoid the conflict all together and focus mainly on the kids I teach. Last week there was a book club and I had to host two simply because I was over requested and I was double booked. I didn't mind though, it was fun.
Despite how frustrating they can be I truly to enjoy them and find myself saddened that I'll be leaving them soon knowing that I won't be back next year. As much as I know they will move on and be alright without Ms. Anita, I'd like to think they'll miss me as well.
My last final was last Thursday, and I am glad to be out of school once again. I will truly miss my Japanese class. The people there were amazing and the sensei quite fabulous. I've made actually friends in a class I decided to be a class clown in. (It was a new experience and I was told personally that if it weren't for me the class would not be what it was. That was a nice feeling). In fact this weekend I planned to hangout with one of my classmates for his birthday.
In the end I think I did pretty well on my finals. I don't expect to get anything less than a B in either class so that's a plus.
For those who are not sure, it is official that I'll be traveling to Japan at the end of July. I am not sure what part of Japan I'll be placed but I'll keep you updated on that as I find things out. Packing is something I haven't done and I'm sure I need to get on that soon. I'm headed to New York for an Orientation in June on the 20th. If anyone from DE (Ysa, Twin, Lin etc) or anyone else would like to me up there in June that would be great. I'd love to see you before I headed out.
Let's see what else. I've worked on art on and off and will possibly be featured in a magazine soon. I'll keep you updated on that as well.
I've kept to my diet, though I haven't lost any weight I haven't gained any so eventually I know it will kick in.
Otakon is on and I have a hotel room. I plan on going as Urd from Ah MY Goddess, in one of her Manga outfits. I think I may create wings to go along with is since it's not the most recognizable Urd dress.
I also plan on going as Kanji from Persona 4. That should be fun.. and I get to wear pants!! XD
